Why do i want this?

It's simple. The forums here are quite strict when it comes to this, what if just wanna clear up my threads and delete some old ones? Or a tleast make them private? Either way, i wish there was a way to remove old topics, especially if you do not want others to see them. Im honestly surprised this hasnt been made yet yet. And i believe im not one of the only ones who wish to remove old topics, because for me its easier to just remove them instead of going back to them and "deleting" them by just editing it.

I think that people should have the right to delete their own topics, what if someone made a mistake and posted it to the wrong category, or just wanted to delete an old thread? Its their thread and they should have the right to delete it. Sure, go ahead and say that its your fault for making a mistake and posting it somewhere where it shouldnt have been, or your fault that you posted dumb stuff on the forums before.

I dont know if someone already suggested this.

I'd support this if it applied only to certain categories such as Fanart and Tribes, where the thread is actually related to the person who posted it.

Someone should not have the option to delete a useful thread or a discussion that has a lot of posts on it that has nothing to do with the person, except for being created by them, belonging to the community at that point.

i've been thinking of deleting all the old threads i've created years ago mostly because i'm not comfortable having them up anymore,, i honestly hate how i can't even do that and the only thing that can be done is to have them locked by a moderator for being off topic or something,, but the thing about that is i feel that wouldn't be so common if we had the option to delete threads in the first place, i don't want them locked i just want them gone, not visible to ANYONE
