I want to place dibs on many tracks. However, I think this is why I can lay claim to the tracks I want:

1. I had the videos processed myself. I don't think anyone else thought to process them.
2. I only want to touch up the generated track to make the arrows match the actual beat of the song. I do not wish to create completely new tracks with different difficulties.

Also, after I finish touching them up, I will let anyone create additional difficulties or revamp the entire track, but I just want to touch up the tracks I processed to make them more playable for the time being.

Anyways, the list is here...

If you're not okay with this, I understand. Someone else can touch them up too, but keep most of the original arrows that are in the generated stepfile.

This whole dib this is rediculous, i doubt they will make it so that only one person can edit a song and that's it.
I'm pretty sure that how the editing will work will be by the playlist and not by video.
So, people can edit tracks in their playlist as they want.

For example, if two people had the same song on their playlist, the arrow patterns would be different because it's tied to the playlist, not the video.

Or if worse comes to worse there will be a map crew-like situation where they would see if the pattern is good or not for the song.

Like I said, this whole thread is one giant speculation. I am not remotely hurt by your comments, nor will I change anything in this thread to reflect what you are saying to me. When the real track editor releases, I will change the thread accordingly. Perhaps this thread will not even be needed.
If you don't want to follow this thread, you can run independent of it. I am only creating this thread to stop duplicates. If one duplicate is favoured over the other, then one person's work is going to become completely useless. It is not a matter of only one person being able to complete a specific song at a time.

I hope this clears up everything you're all upset about.

What I said wasn't meant to hurt you. I'm fine with the way the thread is, but it could be handled a bit more maturely, because being honest here, 'dibs' doesn't sound great.

My post probably came off a bit aggressive, sorry if it sounded like it was. I was just saying my thoughts on how it will probably work out.
