I started out without being able to 100% anything. I thought the people who were getting 100% and higher scores than me were hacking.

Kick drum metronomes came as an extreme annoyance to me and I couldn't 100% it comfortably for a long time. After I did, there were the people that were better than me, and I was angry and salty deep down when I couldn't get the jump on them even if it was just fun and competitive on the surface.

Eventually I got to where I am now. I'm neither a salty asshole (even if I lose), nor do I find the game hard anymore.
What kept me going was the people that cheered me on and supported me even when I was screwing up.

I see people who are struggling to play this game and I try to help them and support them as much as I can but it just comes with practice. Try playing something much harder before you go back to the easier stuff. It might help.

I mean, if you have like really good hand-eye coordination like I do (I'm so vain I know) then Nekodancer would be, like, a breeze.
But you can practice...

Ah yes, Nekodancer, truly the hardest DDR-style game in existence. There is no DDR-like game more difficult than Nekodancer. At all. I mean, those power-ups that make things harder for you? That's just so hard to read, there's no way there could be anything harder than that.

I was pro (a little) in 2015. After not playing for TONS (actually just 5) months im not the Firecattie I used to be anymore.

Im no pro right now, but Nekodancer is pretty much average for me currently.

I started playing necodancer not to long ago. When i found neco it was really hard so i stop but then a few months later i heard it was going down so i tried to give it a last shot and i love music and i found necodancer a really fun way to enjoy music even if i kept dying it was fun and i got to find great new songs to share with my family my whole family loves music so i kept trying and trying and each day i got a little better i'll go to my training and on my favorite song when you on a really good song that you like it really makes you feel motivated now i'm ok with neco not a pro yet but a cat in training. I love neco now xd.On your favorite song and dance to it hear the beat in it if you don't really
have a favorite song search for it K pop jazz pop rock whatever but i recommend a song with a good beat and drop like martin garrix or hardwell ,sean and bobo. Good luck!

Actually, it's very simular to step mania but there is some differences :P

I used to be bad it at but was able to complete kick drum metronomes in less than 100 rounds
