sorry, I'm just being honest. (assuming you're above the age of say, 13)

work on you proportions, and try to limit your shading. think "where would light actually hit" identify a light source (the sun, for example) and picture where it would be and how light would hit it. mb practice with a drawing of a ball (actually don't thats a terrible idea) but work on that

i don't even know where to start. just look up references, i guess?? i learned proportion of just, drawing every day and filling up a million sketchbooks

look at a lot of art. i used to draw the eyes too close together, but as i looked at more fanart and things on tumblr i eventually just subconsciously drawing them better

i think the problems u need to fix with proportion are:

- eyes compared to head
- neck compared to head
- shoulders compared to head
- BODY WAAAY SMALL
- arms are weird af

i say you should draw more full-body pics, draw more frequently too

other than that, i think your style is cute, and the little details are nice

if you say "ITS JUST MY STYLE, I DONT NEED TO HAVE PERFECT PROPORTIONS, I DONT DRAW REALISM!!!111!!11"

ok so your style is the awesomest and i love it, and i would say to make the eyes smaller but like fucking shit it looks awesome in the drawing above.

I'm just gonna let you in on a big artist secret for shading

so, you merge your entire drawing onto one layer. (Like, finished product. Lineart, colors, shading. all that jazz. leave the background separate though)

Then you create a new layer, on top. set that to multiply, also clipping

get a "shadow" or "light" color (NOT BLACK NOT WHITE NOT BLACK NOT WHITE TRY A DARK PASTEL THAT COMPLIMENTS TEH DRAWING) and just go wild. cover it.

erase the edges, so it's like lil highlights. erase along the edge of say, the side of the body where light hits, the nose maybe? some folds of the clothes. ima make a tutorial on this later

new layer. overlay. (maybe clipping? it might fuck up)

airbrush tool. chose some nice colors that compliment your drawing. go wild. scribble everywhere.

you might have to fiddle with the opacity to make it look ok.

(you can also do an airbrushed screen layer but thats optional and a bit overbearing.)
