Ok i have some new ideas for grounds and other things in editor. 1. You should be able to have the option to make any ground a rectangle/circle. The options would be next to collidable with mice/grounds. It would work with any ground. So if you made a wood ground a circle, it would just be the regular circle but with the wodd pattern on it. It would add a nice effect to the grounds and would help for art maps with natural colors and such. 2. This next one would be VERY useful. It would be a scissor option when you press selector and hold shift or something like that. When you select this you could click and drag it on a ground and it would cut it into 2 pieces. This would make it so much easier to make an irregular shaped ground without having to use like another 5 grounds to make it. After you cut the ground though it would add a ground to your ground count. But you could just delete the scrap piece you made anyway. (Just thought that needed to be clear) 3. Settings Grounds Night Grounds: You wouldnt collide with them and they can be any size like regular grounds. As soon as your mouse is inside of the ground your screen goes into night mode in that ground. This wouldnt make the whole screen nightmode, just the area inside the ground. To go with this i think any of the mice stuff with fire or light on them should create an actual little circle of light around the lightsource when the nightmode is enabled. Soulmate Grounds: When you step on it you automatically get attatched to someone and when you step off of it you are unattatched. I think these would be cool to mix up the gameplay in a map where one part you can do by yourself/sham and then get to a part that you need to cooperate on. Portal Grounds: Youve heard them suggested before, step on one ground end up on the other. Setting multiple pairs would give them numbers on them so you can tell the diff. Wind Grounds: These can be collidable or not I guess, making it uncollidable makes more sense to me though. When you step inside the wind pulls you along. If you made it collidable it would act like the conveyor/elevator IM grounds. Gravity Grounds: These would be fun imo. When you get in a certain radius, it pulls you toward it. You would be able to set the size of the radius. Pretty simple. If it was uncollidable you would be pulled to the center of it so i dont think that would be good, although i think this could add some AMAZING gameplay for the sham. Collidable Grounds: I totally doubt this will be supported. When you step in it your mouse becomes collidable with others. When you step out you become uncollidable. This could make a pretty big mess though. 4. Other Grounds and Things Ive Thought Of Anti-Gravity Grounds: When you step inside of these grounds, you are pretty much floating which ever way you moved. So if you run into it from the right, you will move through the ground at the same speed and direction throughout the whole ground without slowing down unless you happen to hit something else or rub against something else, pretty much goes by one of Newton's Laws of Gravity. I think it would be cool to add friction to this ground so that the more friction, the slower you get when running in the ground. Negative friction would sling you back at the speed and direction you came from. New Shaman Option: Be able to press space twice to make an object Anti-ghost. This is just the opposite of ghost items, mice can collide with it, items cant. The color could be a darker green than ghost objects. Also, maybe an option for items to not be able to collide with anything? They would still be anchorable though. This could be useful for spawning a regular plank on one side of a ground, attatching a no collide plank to the regular which would go through the ground, then attatching a regular plank to the no collide on the other side of the ground, for great stabilization in hardmode. This one could be colored light blue, and activated when you press shift.(Ill add a screenshot when I can) New Shaman Option (Editor): Be able to set conjuration for the map. They could come out with a whole other P category with this. Water: Water grounds should have all the options other grounds have.(Dynamic, rotation etc.) Rubble Grounds: This ground will slowly crack the longer you step on it. The more people that are on it the faster it cracks. It will break after cracking a bit and respawn after 10 seconds. Poison Grounds: Step on this ground longer than 10 seconds in total and you get sick and cant move for 5 seconds. Mice Stuff: Ok we know everyone wants this, rotatable mice stuff. Just adding it in here. I will add more as i think of them. Wow this is a fairly long list. Kudos if you read them all. So tell me what you think. |

Definately support this :D It's such a pain in the ass having to use all those grounds just to make one irregular shape. I think this would help a lot :D |

Mtsloud a dit : Well you wouldnt get a partner, you would only get one if there is another mouse that has no partner on the ground. And yeah i have no knowledge of programming so i dont know how hard these would be or even possible. |
