Lately you may have noticed the surge of new mini-games, this is due to some mice having the ability to create them. You can read more about this new update specifically by clicking here: Topic-248549]here[/url].

Although there are already a lot of mini-games out there, such as Traitor (created by Moepl and Impuredeath), Deathmatch (a remake of free-for-all by Baffler), and Ratapult (by Evilsantah), there is always room for more!

It would be fantastic to have some suggestions and ideas of what kinds of mini-games mice are interested in seeing created so feel free to post any suggestions (that are within reason) that you may have for a mini-game here!

Bare in mind that the Module API is still limited, so not every idea is possible, and programmers are doing this within their own time, so your idea might not be made. Hopefully this will give us some inspiration and we might even develop some of your suggestions!

I want a cat minigame ok.

I mean erm, here are some of the things the Module API can not do, so don't bother suggesting them:
-Make everyone shaman
-Give people cheese, fraises, or stats
-Dress you up in clothes or change fur colour
-Teleport grounds, add grounds, or anything similar that can only be done in the map editor
-Currently can't spawn anchors, although will be possible some time.

A room where all can be sham at the same time :D or have the abilty to look and feel like a shaman.. :D like in one winter special event i think..

I remember this from the Christmas event, but unfortunately with the Module API as it is, this is impossible.

~Also updated my first post in this thread with some of the limitations of the API, so people know what/what not to suggest.

ello, this is a thread for minigame suggestions in Transformice. State the room name and then describe it.

My Suggestions:

Mission- Mice have to complete specific tasks. There can be two modes to choose from: Normal and Bootcamp. Examples include: Get a time lower then 15.9 seconds on Map 22; Complete 10 bootcamp maps. I like.

Tribetournament- Like tribewar, but only two tribes compete at a time for 10 rounds. Mice from other tribes that aren't competing at the moment will not spawn. There has to be more than 4 tribes because this is a tournament, not war. Not much point.

Destruction- Mice have to knock down certain structures. The mice can choose which items to spawn. Maybe...

Competition- Mice try to get the most cheese, firsts, and saves out of X rounds. (X=5,10,25,50,100) I like.

Training- Mice can train there with a bot's help and detailed video. There can be a separate menu for you to choose which skill to train. Maybe...

Suggestions for fun:

Spectator X- Spectate any room. (X=Any word or number) This is an idea for the afk people. If they need to leave for some reason, they can spectate their current room or different room. But then there's bootcamp... Maybe...

Mountainclimb- Multiple Screens. Mice have to climb up a steep mountain. The slopes will appear from left to right to left etc. Mice just climb by jumping and moving. Not much point.

Dance- Players press WASD or Arrow Keys to dance. This is just a way to have players relax/take a break from normal Tfm. Not much point.

What about remaking *p4 *p7 ect when it only played those kind of maps and you could also request a map to play

I like the idea of this a lot. Unfortunately it's not quite possible with the Module API as it is right now, but if you make a list of possible missions, I'll take a look at making it when feasable.

I don't think this'd have as much gameplay for players as the Tribewar will have.

Like Angry Birds? Or the mice can spawn items to knock the structure down, like Deathmatch/Deploy?

Sounds similar to Elimination.

The Module API would bring no bots, and there are already fairly detailed videos on YouTube who want a video. Also, it's not quite possible to have a custom menu. The Helpers have a set of maps together that mice can use to train certain skills.

Not possible with the Module API or bots. You get auto-kicked after being AFK for too long, except in the Map Editor or Tribe House, anyway. I don't see the need for anything like this for people who won't even be there.

What do you mean by multiple screens? And this seems more like a simple map idea instead of a minigame.

Could just go to room 801 and dance instead... Or play the Dance Dance Revolution minigame. I see no need for this as a minigame in itself.

What'd the prize for this betting be? Stats can't be given as a prize. If shop cheese were the prize, this seems like a cheap way for people to get shop cheese without playing the game itself.

Unfortunately, currently, testers are limited to simply two official modules each, so bringing all of these about would be impossible (and probably wouldn't be approved, either). Regardless, is there really even a need for any? The more unique gameplay styles (defliante/survivor/racing/bootcamp/etc.) have their own rooms already. I'd fully support official art/shaman/etc. rooms, however.

It had some commands:
.map - showed top 5 completions and the 5 best times and the total number of different players that completed it
.top - showed the 5 players with the most unique completions and 5 players with the lowest average time (the bot kept an average time for each player)
.s *name* - showed the players stats (Number of unique completions and average time, just .s showed your own stats)
.m *name* *code* - showed the number of completions and the best time for the player on the map (.m showed your own 'stats' on the map playing at that moment)

I don't know if this is possible to make though.

So basically it's bootcamp with stats? That's not exactly the easiest thing to do with the Module API right now (although possible) and would be limited, but I'm sure it'll be more possible and be remade some time in the near future.

I've wanted three shamans (one red, one yellow, and one blue) with three holes, each for two of the shamans (orange for red and yellow, purple for red and blue, and green for blue and yellow). Thos way, the shamans could fight until only one died.
