[Gameplay] Use shaman master mode |
1 | ||
This is a suggestion that I truly do not expect to be considered, however it would be quite fun. Basically it's a harder difficulty than "hard mode" for shamans. Let's face it, hard mode gets easy. Fast. You have a red nail if you need it and yellow nails keep everything pretty stable without having to build actual support for most lengths, and then even when you're building across the map you can just use bridge support (piers & archs) to stabilize it. What more can you possibly take away? I'm glad you asked. "Master mode" would be for geeks who have full understanding of shaman physics and how builds work. It would be HARD, even for experienced players. The following restrictions would be placed on this mode: • No yellow anchors • No arrow anchors - this makes stability too easy for V solutions • Replace spirit/totem with a single yellow nail (kinda like how totems are used for 1 red nail) What would be the benefits of using master mode? • A more awesome shaman appearance • Spawn objects twice as fast (to promote speed building for necessary complex structures) • These saves add to HM saves (becomes HM/MM saves) • Double save points in P4 maps (2 points per save) - only P4 to prevent easy map abuse What would be the prerequisites for using master mode? • 10,000 HM saves • 1,000 Cheese personally gathered (to promote faster & better building without +20s/anti-newb solutions) |

Okay, this has nothing to do about the Shaman Master Mode but really? You use the word 'Geeks'? Mmm, that's going to get you supporters. And something like this was suggested on the old forums- when all you used was V anchors. /support But I'd change it from 10,000 HM saves to about 2,000- 7,000 |

Annaxor a dit : Yeah, I mean it's the internet, people shouldn't take everything to heart. You could call me a geek if you'd like. I was being comedic. |

/Support This seems like a really nice idea. One question though.. How would we build up? ._. You have to think about appearance of the mouse as well. The rest is amazing. If this comes out, I have got to get more Hardmode saves. ;-; |

No support, sorry. Hard mode is good enough... |

So I am a geek just because I know the game physics? :CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCcC PCLÑKcme-lw,cfmpovwñrlvmeñfc,... Support. Sarakat a dit : What do you mean with ''good enough''? |

How about 5,000-6,000 HM Saves? /support |

Thefourthone a dit : Well there's not much upwards to build to in a 400px tall screen, but if you'd like a sample of how to build suspended structures with V here's one: Chandara a dit : Removing ghost objects would inevitably block mice. I don't think that'd make shamming harder so much as it'd make it harder for mice who tend to AFK. The main difference between normal and hard mode is stability, which is why I find it only natural to further inhibit stability with increasing difficulty by removing the almightly yellow nail of hardmode. Sarakat a dit : Hard mode is a good challenge at first, but once you get around 10K HM saves you'll see it's just too easy. V builds, however, are challenging to shamans of all skill levels. A lot of people have hard mode nailed, which is why I suggest this new, more difficult step to the shaman challenge to not only appease to experienced shamans but also to deepen the depth of shaman gameplay as a whole. Maxixc a dit : Hello bretheren. |

How many objects can you put? |
0 | ||
Jhnnycpckes a dit : What do you mean? There's no limit to the amount of stuff you can spawn in this game. With V solutions, however, you need more objects for more complex structures, hence the increased spawn time listed under benefits to promote faster building of such complex structures. |

i supoort but i think it woudl be enought to have 2000 hardmode saves. and u should a totem with max one C plank and no B plank |

I think That's enough to make req of 1,000 HM saves, You don't need to allow this mode only for players that playing a lot of time in hard mode. It also will help to learn how to build only with V if the players be allowed to use master mode earlier. I have about 700/800 HM saves but I can to build perfect... |

Fxie a dit : I mean like in a few of the vanilla maps it requires you to build up and there is only 2 small blocks of land and each end of the map, one holding the cheese and the other that has the mouse and hole. |

fxie, I got 4k HM saves and already think its boring, its different from mice to mice. |

I god 700/800 HM saves and I already can buold good with only green nails. I think it's need to be allowed on 1,000 HM saves. :I (saying again) |

/support That would be SO hard though and take a lot of time ! What i don't understand though is that would there be another feather ? How would you edit the totem ? |
