[BUG LIST post V1.102] Community Platform

Let's start from scratch with a new topic. Please report all the bugs you have with the Community Platform since version 1.102.

This thread is ONLY about bugs. You can discuss and share your thoughts in this thread : Topic-387388

The Community Platform still goes offline every now and then, but comes back up all by itself now. No downtime greater than 7 minutes can occur, if you can't chat in tribe or talk to your friends, please allow at least 7 minutes for it to work again.

• A player can be in the Friends list and Ignored list at the same time[FIXED]
• Spiritual Chiefs get [20] Forbidden when trying to move ranks up and down
• No prefix [Shaman Melibellule] before Shaman speaks
• Muted players can still whisper
• Server messages aren't pink/bold anymore [FIXED]
• Can no longer change font/size.[FIXED]
• Community prefix in whispers disappeared (ex [br][Galaktine] kkkk)
• /langue doesn't change the text in the friend/tribe windows.
• Some tribes have "2" at the end of their name. [Not a bug, way to deal with duplicates]
• Tribe log doesn't have a scroll bar.[FIXED]
• In Tribe rank list, "Can change Transformice map" isn't clear, should be "Can change Tribe House map".[Fixed but needs language files recompiled]
• Tribe ranks can't be deleted if assigned to at least one member. Got to change rank of all players using that rank to be able to delete it.[FIXED]
• If someone becomes Spiritual Chief, they can't moderate the Tribe subforum like before[FIXED]
• When leaving or changing tribes, you can still see the old tribe forum.[FIXED]
• Tribe house map goes back to @0 if nobody is in Tribe House, even if you just changed it.[FIXED]
• /musique and Youtube don't work [FIXED]
• The friends list and tribe window can be dragged offscreen and not be dragged back.
• Friend's names aren't green. [FIXED]
• A player can be on the friendlist and blacklist at the same time. [FIXED]
• You can still see the chat bubble of ignored players.[FIXED]
• Friends list is always ontop, regardless of the tribe window.
• Can send the same message as many times as wanted.[FIXED]
• Removing someone from the blacklist that is also on the friends list will also remove them from the friends list.[FIXED]
• A message shows in the chat when players in your ignore list connect/disconnect [FIXED]
• You can't run modules in the tribe house[FIXED]
• Keys bound by the Module API still work when chat is selected.

Here's a list of known, already reported bugs.

• Shaman chat doesn't show as bold/coloured. Also no prefix [Shaman Melibellule] before Shaman speaks
• Playing Youtube videos in Tribe House don't work for those who have the rank for it
• Server messages aren't pink/bold anymore
• There's a delay between hitting enter and keystrokes being registered in the chat.
• Running in a direction then tapping enter won't keep you running (caused by previous bug).
• Can no longer change font/size.
• All chats being combined into one with tabs being mandatory is a pain to use.
• Community prefix in whispers disappeared (ex [br][Galaktine] kkkk)

• Scrollbar on chat is a bit off to the side. Topic-418111
• Some tribes have "2" at the end of their name.
• Tribe log doesn't have a scroll bar.

• Tribe ranks can't be deleted if assigned to at least one member. Got to change rank of all players using that rank to be able to delete it.

• Private channels can't be closed if the community platform went offline or restarted.

• Messages don't go to the /tc window.
• Friends list is always ontop, regardless of the tribe window.
• Moderation and server messages aren't in <ROSE>.
• Loading Forteresse and Boumboum doesn't often complete.
• When leaving or changing tribes, you can still see the old tribe forum.
• Can send the same message as many times as wanted.
• Removing someone from the blacklist that is also on the friends list will also remove them from the friends list.
• /mt doesn't work.
• /t in tribe chat doesn't display like "[Room] :" or "[Shamousey] :"

Suggestions:

• SHIFT+TAB to switch to the previous chat tab.
• TAB+1 to go to room chat, TAB+2 to switch to tribe chat, etc.
• /rt and /tk returning would be nice.
• Backspace before the first character in chat while on tribe/whisper/channel to switch back to room chat.
• Being able to change font and size again.

• Tribe log to record adding/editing ranks.
• Tribe log to display newest at the top.
• An "All" tab to view room chat, tribe chat, whispers, and private channel chat.
• Ability to colour private channel chat.
• A command to type to a specific private channel (/talk DiscussionName Hi there everyone!)
• Ability to automatically open certain channels when logging in.
• Re-order chat tabs.
• Ability to close all whisper tabs at once.
• Notification when someone joins a channel.
• Ability to see everyone that's in a channel.
• Mod/Mapcrew/Arb/Lua chat to have their own tabs each.

Tribe chat goes in to the new ./chat feature tab too

Not sure if intentional or not.

If you have HTML in your greetings message and log on every post after the tribe message will be in bold/italic etc. So say your greetings message has <b> in it, everything said after that will be in bold.

Posting this for a tribemate of mine. It appears as though the /tc* command has a bug of its own.

If you have a whisper tab open whilst you use /tc* in room chat, it merges the tribe chat with the whisper tab as shown below:

Whenever I sit on one spot, my mouse moves a bit only whenever I type to chat. I wasn't even pressing any of the arrow keys or WASD keys.

As Spiritual Chief I still get "[20] Forbidden." message when moving ranks up/down, even though I should have full control. Tribe Sham also has this problem when moving ranks below her.

Ranks will randomly move themselves up and down. Even after moving a rank down to the bottom of the list it still moved back up when I opened Tribe again.

Mouse moves left/right when you hit the wasd keys when typing.

Probably not a bug, but the way the tribe chat merged with regular speak is confusing expecially for people like me who have eyesight trouble as it is.

Also, I will randomly "disconnect" when speaking to friends. I'll still be connected and able to speak in room chat, but my friends can't whisper me, I can't whisper them and I'm d/c from tribe chat. A few minutes later they get the "Striderp just connected" message and everything's fine again. It only happens with a few of us at a time and my friends were still able to talk to each other through tribe chat while it was happening.

Bound keys in module rooms can be used in chat. Annoying especially in #hidenseek, where space is the hide/unhide key.

Not sure if its a bug, but a lot of players relied on autorun which is no longer possible.

I also have the same problem of moving in one spot, though I never press the WASD keys. I can never figure out which keys trigger this but this is annoying me whenever I look to see my mouse is moving. I'm not quite sure if this is a bug, but i use to be able to run, press enter, and type while running. Not sure if this was removed or it is just a bug, but please fix because I find it annoying whenever I have to stop, type like a letter, then run again!

Meli, our mice never turned left and right before in the old TFM, nor before this community platform. Well at least most times from what I noticed.

Mouse facing left or right when typing is not a bug? Weird....it never did that though before the Community Platform update came.

Just fixed the mouse moving when typing and the autorun. (client patch, reload Transformice)
