Before you get smart and say "CHECK IF YOUR PARTICLES ARE ON," yes, they are.

Seems sometimes particles such as hearts when entering the hole, shaman summoning smoke, the spark of conjuration or the spirit the bubble produces does not seem to show up. Then sometimes it does. Someone else was having the issue in Discussions so I'm making a topic.

mouse dies -> no bubbles
mouse goes in hole -> hearts appear

yep. also sometimes sham smoke appears, sometimes doesn't

I think I was having this problem earlyer too, not sure, I use crome

This isn't really a case where it's browser specific it seems.

same I usa chome as well I still dont see it I dont see any of them some particles are very useful sometimes I dont see the things it tells me before on my friends list it just showed a bunch of x's

I believe this is due to the update since they(the admins) tried to reduce lag and somehow some parts of the game got screwed up.

I never have particles on, I only have sounds on. However, I've been noticing a few problems with sounds too. The last two days, the bell at the beginning of each round and the sounds (e.g. The sound when a mouse dies etc..) hasn't been working for me for the majority of the time I was playing. Not sure if this is related in any way to the particle effects or if it's just an issue with me

no partical affect or sounds work for me i hear the bell and the music sometimes i can see the smoke from mice getting the cheese and sometimes i hear and see the hearts comeing from going in the hole :P

I have it when I either die or go in hole only sometimes though.

While that does happen, that's not the case this time around.

i found a way to fix it (it worked for me)
if you go to the spanner menu, unclick the particle button (so then its off) then re-click it (so its on) it works
