[News] Recent Changes, Updates and Announcements

Hi everyone!

With this thread we're trying to keep you up-to-date with any recent game updates, changes to the staff team and announcements for applications etc.

Of course you are more than free to share your opinion and comment on any content posted in this thread. However, please note that you cannot do so here, we have set up a seperate Reactions thread, which can be found here: Topic-64554

We are glad to inform you that all successful Sentinel applicants for the new communities have been hired! Sorry for being a bit late with announcing this. Here is a list of our new staff members:

Barrydarsow is no longer part of the Sentinel team, he is still a normal moderator, though.

The Sentinels now have an ingame command!

Type /c cfmbot sentinels in chat to see a list of online Sentinels in your community so that you can report rulebreaking threads, posts & etc in game. For a list of things to report, please view the second post of the Staff FAQ: Topic-51414

The General Forum Guidelines have been updated: A new rule regarding backseat-moderating (i.e. acting like a forum moderator) has been added.

If you think a thread or post needs moderation, please contact a Sentinel via one of the ways listed on the Staff FAQ (link). While we appreciate when you are being helpful to others, criticising a particular user's behaviour and giving instructions as a forum moderator would is unnecessary and can be classed spam. Therefore, posts like "This thread needs locking." are not allowed and will most likely result in a mute.
