For now, we have to ./watch (nickname) to watch any people.
Here are my suggestions for this command:

./fdwatch = watch all the people in my friendlist
./soulwatch = watch our soulmate in partner map
./lovewatch = watch our husband/wife
./twatch = watch all our tribe members
./shamwatch = watch the shaman in each map

Although it did include your suggestion, that thread wasn't specifically about the /watch command. I think this is a great idea.

I think watching a soulmate should be a default option if only so you can easily tell whether they're afk or not etc.

Other than that, why not make the commands like this:
/watch friends
/watch spouse
/watch tribe
/watch shaman
/watch soulmate

This seems easier to remember to me. However, I guess it's personal taste o/
