I had suggested this, along with an outfits category on the old forums but before I could post it again on the new forums, someone else had already nabbed it. I don't think anyone has posted this, though.

My suggestion is to raise the limit from 1 to 2 (items equipped per category). You're probably ready to yell "No!", but hear me out!

Eventually, all the hairstyles (including the ones in the "Head" and "Ear" category) will be moved to "Hairstyles". This will open up the ability to mix hats with some of the hairs, while removing the ability to create some pretty awesome combinations with two different hairstyles. Ones like below will no longer be possible.


The change wouldn't only be useful with "Hairstyles" but with "Head" items as well. For example, you could get creative with the Halloween event pumpkin mask (or skull mask). Either of those masks could look great with a top hat, jester's hat, the feathered headdress, bandit mask, antlers, bunny ears, cat ears, and more. You could wear the halo with hats.
(As suggested by Willinator, to reduce lag you could add a 2 item limit per category and keep the total limit around 7.)

On that note I introduce my second suggestion: Custom layering. It would be as simple as equipping all of your items, visiting your "Worn accessories" tab, then click and drag your items into the order you wish them to appear on your mouse (first = bottom, last = top). If this would be too hard to code, it could also be achieved by whichever item you equip first stays on the bottom, and the last stays on top.

My third suggestion is sort of related so I'll suggest it here, as well. Some items are oddly placed in the shop. Ones that I know of that I think should be moved are:

Bandit mask (head > eyes)
Dragon mask (ear > eyes or head)
4001 headdress (ear > head)
Snowman face (head > eyes)
Bowtie (mouth > neck)

Yeah I totally support, I mean I have this outfit where I use the Elvis hair (Obviously) and the new mowhawk hairstyle and it looks so awesomee. D:
If we wouldnt be able to do that anymore then no more Mowhawkelvis hair :c

I think they should make a new category called "Hair" Just for the hair from the previous "Head" category instead of putting them in hair styles. ^^

I'm not sure how much lag it would cause, but I can't see it causing much more. Most people (not necessarily you) seem to think that any difference in the game, any update they add, etc. will cause tons and tons of lag when in reality, there's no reason it should cause any that's noticeable when it's such a small change. Twice as many items could make a difference but I can't see it making too much. However, Tig would really be the only one who knew for sure.

I always thought wearing the skull mask, or the pumpkin mask with a top hat could be awesome. I know some of the stuff would look silly, but lots of the stuff people wear now look ridiculous, don't they? Especially with all the neon colours!
Another example would be ears - wearing the new bandana along with the actual earrings would be pretty.

I support, this would be very beneficial to me since me and my shop items.
