There are people then join Transformice everyday, a lot of them may even be alts that people wont use after that one day. Usernames are already hard to get and alot of people tend to stop playing tfm.

This suggestion is for the fact that tfm should have a 1 year auto delete.
Explanation: If a user is not logged back on with in a year, then that username will be deleted, allowing that user to be free to use for new comers who wish to sign up on tfm,

Obviously, when a name switches owner, all statistics and shop currencies should be erased. It's a clean slate.

If someone is wanting there username to stay and keep on as 'locked' then they will either have to reach 1000 cheese or maby have to pay 500 cheese.(or something like that)

Honestly, I feel this ruins the point of the game. Though it will be nice to have names like 'meow', we can't be sure we'll use them ourselves. As I said, Transformice is a free game. So, I feel there should be an exception.

Maybe gather 100+ cheese within a month or two? I mean that proves that the account is active.

If you changed it to people who haven't been on since 2010 then I would agree. The admins are already trying to implement something like this anyway so..

Yeah... that's honestly your problem. Most game companies don't exactly bond with the idea of alts. With all these alternate accounts, it could make server backups longer and they won't be dealt with in a snap.

Overall, I /support with name changes just around the corner.
...However, if stats get erased over a specific interval (perhaps a year), then I go for /half support.

I support this idea, because it gives the owner full knowledge, that this is gonna happen and if he does nothing, let others enjoy registering with those names

I Support It But How About Two Years Because Actually If You Think About It One Full Year Is Pretty Short But It Is A Long Time For Someone Just To Hop On And Play Tfm A Couple Days -.- So Then Again A Year Is Actually Long Enough.

I Also Dislike The Fact That If You Buy Fraises Your Account Won't Be Deleted But Think About Other Websites When You Buy Membership & It Runs Out Its Up To You To Renew It Or Just Never Play Again Similar To Fraises Because You Have The Choice to Play With Your Fraises OR NOT. For 1-2 Whole Years Like Seriously People Think.

Exactly the reason I don't want to support this, a famous user may not play for a year then someone would take that name. Seems a bit problematic to me.

A good idea I would be, if someone took a name that was already made to have something to say if it is a copy on the profile.

I don't think this would be a significant problem.

• People get less famous if they go inactive for longer periods. Who remembers Artkiller nowadays?
• Users should have to accept to discard their username so that someone else may use it. In that sense stealing will not be an issue.
• If a name does get taken over, the registration date and in game statistics, items and shop cheese would be reset. If they still were famous, they wouldn't remain so for long.

You are quite right with what you say, famous people do get forgotten, and new people join everyday. Also truthfully if people are like me and have been upon tfm for a couple of years and yet still dont know who the famous people are, then the people wont have to worry about loosing there name.
