Giving New Members a list of tribes. |

So, when a new member first joins after the tutorial, they could be given a list of tribes. Not ALL of the tribes on Transformice, but a list of 100 tribes. They could pick a tribe. Somebody who is on in the tribe would get a notification saying: (players name here) wants to join (tribes name here). Let them join or not? If nobody is on, the New Member would get a notification saying: Nobody is on in this tribe. When somebody is on, they will be given a notification to recruit you. If the new member doesnt want to join a tribe right away, they could close it, and when they want to pick a tribe from that list later, it will be in the menu. You can turn off requests from new members. (idea by Wolfythecat) The List will have tabs saying Tribes With Less People and Tribes With Many People. (idea by Khjfkjh) Do you like this idea? No support is ok, but please give a reason. ^ Maybe they could click on the persons name and see their profile. If no, they can type to them: Sorry, you dont fit requirments. |

Personally I think the Tribes subforum is a good enough "list" for that. The new user might not even be aware that there's a forum button in-game, sure, but I wouldn't think that's a good excuse. There's a flaw in which tribe member would get the message. Only select members of a tribe can recruit. I sure hope there's an ignore button like the tribe recruit popup and the trade request popup have. a dit : This might be slightly more effort, but you can go to the forum, click search, select "tribe" on "search what?", type in any word, click submit, and you're given a list of tribes with that word in the name of each tribe. Click on any tribe, you can see if recruitment is opened or closed (The thing might be defaulted as close as not a lot of people use the forum). If you click on the gear/name of the tribe on that window, you are given a menu with "See members". And you can try whispering any of the names on that list to see if they are online and if they could recruit. But actually that's a lot of effort. Probably be better if you just go to the Tribes subforum and post in the "looking for a tribe" thread, or in one of the many individual tribe threads. |

/halfsupport Maybe an option to turn newbie recruitment requests on or off for your tribe? I'm sure tribes that aren't recruiting or have friend requirements wouldn't want to get those requests. |

shinymoo a dit : Nobody wants to go into a game and be denied a tribe immediately. Also, I don't see the need for this at all, considering that there are always people saying "Does anyone want a tribe?" /nosupport |

/support Idea you don't need to use but a suggestion to add: the list should have tabs saying "Tribes with less people in it" and "Tribes with many people in it" or something else, so that other tribes can have a chance to get more members. just an idea if u want to add it :3 |

/nosupport I don't see the need of this since joining a tribe doesn't really benefit the newbie in any part of this game. |

/halfsupport They could use the Forum, but I do think it might be nice to have a tribe early on in the game, as you can make more friends and get better at the game with help from your tribemates. |

Orangelighthouse a dit : I have to disagree with you on that. Searching through the tribe subforum takes ages and when you finally find a tribe that you think you'll like it's either inactive/ or there isn't someone on who can recruit you within a few days. I know I haven't been able to find a tribe that I would enjoy because frankly it just doesn't exist. By having this list of options it gives new players a general idea of the kinds of tribes out there. If it were up to me it'd be a list of tribes all different in some way and varying in size. Some players like small tribes others big tribes. /support |
