Welcome to the official Shaman of the Year thread! Shaman of the year is a single elimination Fight (/room #fight) tournament! Shaman of the year was previously held last year, and it has finally returned with extra prizes and more rules! Check the tabs at the top for detailed information! The winner of Shaman of the Year 2015 will receive a fur of their choice + a Shaman Objects set of their choice, and of course the Shaman of the Year title! But that is not all, not only the Shaman of the Year will be receiving prizes this year, but there will also be other winners for other categories such as Fastest match won, Perfect score, Ace, and much more! Joining Shaman of the Year is a prize its self, what does matter is the fun that you will endure during the on-going of this Tournament. Every bit will be amazing and exciting for everyone for sure!
This year the winner of a match will be determined through the best score out of 3 games (Best of 3s). Winning a game requires the two Shamans to kill each other until one of them reaches 5 wins. (This is normal PvP'ing, no maximum rounds limit nor time limit!) For the bracket we will be using Challonge with single elimination format. (Therefore the loser of a match is out completely!) At the end of a game the referee will ask the winner of the round to pick a map that will be played the next round, the winner has the right to ask his opponent/referee to choose the map for them. If one breaks the rules, they'll be given another chance, if they do it again they will be disqualified immediately with no hesitation. There's a referee for each timezone, you may contact in-game or on the forums if you need to know anything regarding the tournament, they will also be needed to verify the score of your match!
