Unfortunately the Map Assistance Team is no longer available (and has been like this for a while) but I've decided to go ahead and revive the idea of helping people with all their maps. I have Hpocks to thank for this, which reminds me, if you don't need help with Rotation Maps, but rather bootcamp maps go ahead and head over to his thread! On with the thread, if you need help with any rotation map I can give my input here. If you need help with a specific mech for example, feel free to try to get help here, along with any opinions on what you should do with the mech/map. I mostly am just skilled with P5 and P6 however I have skills in almost any category. (excluding maps outside of Rotation) I've had experience with the map editor for about four years now, and know pretty much every corner of it. Rules I am not a Mapcrew, you should always take the word of a Mapcrew over me. If it's help you need that's just a quick question, and not something where you'd like to improve your map, please head over to the Map Editor Q&A. Please supply your @code along with a description of the map's gameplay. As I said I've had quite a bit of experience in Rotation Maps, here, have some examples, the following maps are just my own, however I've helped countless players ingame with their maps to the point where they got a higher perm as a result. make a mech for the wing feathers and tail feathers, that will add a much more interesting appear and will give you more gameplay options. And the tramp isn't purple so it has no indication of it being a tramp. Try to figure out a way to connect that to the bird. |

@5888307 - The map is way too boring, but the art is well done do something with it, you know how if you click the plus in the forums a stack of threads push down? Try something like that, you could make some gameplay of it. @6279062 - Add portals to it Colors are annoying, try and fix that, also the first color can't be seen very well, make that foreground besides that the map is really good, tell me when you've made changes, has a nice mix of competitive race mech gameplay to it, where you can lose the 1st to make sure no one behind you gets first. |

@6292257 - Looks good, however I think you can do more with the gameplay to the right of the cheese, there's so much space there. After adding some gameplay there I'd recommend submitting this to P9, P6, or P7 |

Garyarcanine a dit : @5000486 - Just my opinion but grounds in P4 should be 40 Pixels Tall always, anyway the gameplay is great, ground on the very left is unneeded and only make a somewhat easy map easier, remove it. Besides that map is pretty good. |

@6295328 - P4 Nice idea, keep that frame of grounds, however decorate the map, imo I have high doubts the Mapcrew would like this map cause it's kinda bloon/cannon spammy but it's a good idea, go with it and see what else you can make of it |

@6242020 - Redo the whole map, walljump isn't a suitable gameplay for any perm now a days, and that's pretty much the whole gameplay idea going on here, P9 is a category for maps that don't really fit into any other category, that means a lot of P9's have new gameplays (or what would have been new) or they have an unwanted feature that still needs to be used. @6269105 - Do not make maps with pre-spawned portals ever, there are too many bugs concerning them. I'd even suggest you remove the portals from this map completely just for safety and basically just redo the map actually, please, don't do pre-spawned portals. If you need to make a teleportation map try this thread here. Again, do not use pre-spawned portals, I even just asked a Mapcrew and they will never allow them in any rotation due to the bugs they can cause. |

Renaxan a dit : the gameplay is "ok" but the mech is glitchy so that ends up getting ruined. In Defilante maps (whats used to provide death tokens) if you go offscreen you die, so make a wall on the left side so people won't go offscreen and die when jumping up. The coffee cup idea is really bad, how's the shaman supposed to get the mice out if they fail and get stuck? They also can't see the water so the first 10 or so mice art going to get stuck which is really really bad. The point of the mech appears to be if the tick mark goes in the green the fire stops if the mice aren't pushing on the button, but from how the mech glitches thats also only if a mouse pressed the button to begin with. Basically try and make the mech less glitchy, a big tip would be don't make the ground appear, instead make it raise from under. yawiz a dit : Mousechris a dit : A big shout-out to Yawiz who recently got their map in P4 Discussion, I'm glad to have helped you Yawiz. Congratulations. You should all really ask for suggestions here, really, I have professional opinions on maps and that isn't even an ego.
