i started this story a year ago and then briefly dumped it in favor of writing for another piece of media. this was planned to be a one-shot with a brief and simple theme. i promptly forgot about it now due to writer’s block and formerly being unable to figure out how to progress the story, now i‘ve just come back to it many months later to tie up loose ends albeit very rushed and sloppy.
this was for writing practice and for me to explore a certain writing style a bit, namely with how i establish setting and background rather than making everything sound flowery. i made the story’s concept and plot on the fly as i wrote. i needed to get this out because i do rather like what i’ve made and i always enjoy readers.

wordcount is 9k. link leads to a google doc where you can read the whole thing because i was too lazy to break it into parts. here goes a tale about bravery, family, sacrifice and an extremely vague identity crisis or something like that. i also wrote this fic at a time where it never occurred to me where transformice as we know it is most likely a world occupied with multiple deities, perhaps for every species. in this version elisha is a primary god and created the entirety of earth. that includes all other animals.
