Profile Picture doesn't go through

For some reason my profile picture got removed as well as a lot of people on my friends list. When I try to upload the picture I had before (so I know it should work) I don't get an error or anything. It goes through but the picture stays blank yet I have the option to "change" or "remove" the picture, it doesn't show up in transformice either. I have tried changing it on a different browser and also on a different device.

probably not, probably the server malfunctioned, or the admins swapped out?
i don't know for certain though.

I'm on Linux and use a standalone Flashplayer to play Transformice. The /avatar in-game command doesn't work there - the file dialog comes up, but after selecting an image file, nothing happens, no chat message or anything. (Browser Flash plugins won't even open a file dialog.)

I was able to upload an avatar using the standalone Transformice.exe, but it requires using Wine and installing Adobe Air, which is quite bothersome. (I used the Windows Air .exe from here; it worked despite the installer hanging up.)

I tried running the game in a standalone debug Flashplayer after creating an "mm.cfg" Flash configuration file with the following content to log errors and policy-related messages:

The results for both available online TFM loaders were slightly different, but ultimately, data transfer with avatars.atelier801.com was denied in both cases. The logs started when loading the game; the last few messages are related to my attempts to upload an image via /avatar, which failed after selecting the file.

Is the upload failure a problem with the cross-domain configuration? Can someone who knows more about these things than me explain what is happening here?

Also, why is the image upload on the forum broken? I tried several browsers, and none showed any error messages for the file upload, but when I try to open the supposed image URL, I only get a 404 file not found error.

Using steam and i have this issue. I've tried unistalling and re downloading. No one seems to know anything about it. Over a 6 month long issue is kinda crazy.
