Hi, please tell me if this already exists but I've never been able to find this. It's been a while since I played the game (last time I logged in was in 2020 or 2021).
The forum has always been separate from the game from what I understand and if someone sends you a message here, you won't be able to know that unless they tell you. This makes reconnecting with friends a bit difficult. For example there are friends I would like to talk to and I know they log into the game but they don't come here. I'm not active anymore so sending a PM would be the best option. The issue is that they are unable to know that I send them a message unless they log into the forum for some reason.

I don't know if Atelier changed this but I remember that you could only send whispers if the person was offline, too.

Is there a way to send a message to someone who is disconnected?

The only way I can think of right now would be a postcard. Perhaps write something like "check your forum PM's" on it to carry the conversation over to the forum. Offline users can receive cards, but I don't know if/when they expire if the player doesn't log in for a while.
