This should be added to your suggestion (perhaps edit your post?) because in my opinion simply being able to lock public rooms is as problematic suggestions, since there could be new (bot) rooms made in the public realm that obviously shouldn't be locked and also old rooms like cheese,room,roomname,lol etc. etc. shouldn't be locked.

I dont think that this would be added to the game, because mods need it more than we do, and then people would have bots put passwords on a room that anyone should be allowed to go in, like for example, /room 1, /room bootcamp1, /room vanilla1, etc...

They meant PRIVATE rooms not public rooms.
