Some awesome bootcamping happening in those semi finals, some epic times and far more completions of the very hard maps than I was expecting. Thanks so much for playing to Gohoq, Aidanrm, Skullehtor. Betel won the round, Xorcist following up with a solid second place, Franquin taking the third and we have a tie for the final place in the final between Rpownz and Mcsguigf, so we will have to find a time to have a playoff for the remaining place in the final. As I have said, I propose a Sunday 19:30 GMT time for the final, if any of you are likely to have problems with that time, speak up now. As a thank you for participating, everyone who played will get to vote on which maps you'll see them play in the final, I'll have some lists for you all tomorrow. |

Only three fastest times out of the six maps? My my, I've faltered from my divine state. But then again I didn't have any preparation into anything and ended up crapping map #4, good thing my Rambo instincts haven't failed me yet ;D Also, seeing a bloodline duel between Rpownz and Mcsguigf is a heartbreaker, although the bout shall be indubitably thrilling! I hopefully think I can make that Sunday time as well. Dernière modification le 1415680800000 |

Just 6 maps, 3 x oldschool (medium) , 2 x new (hard) , all already chosen 1x very hard from that list : you guys get to choose this one ! The mighty Betel has withdrawn from the final round of the competition blowing the doors to #1 wide open, Rpownz will take his place if he can make it as he so narrowly missed out. So, for a glorious display of final round antics, Bleees decided he would connect via telegraph, and disconnected 6 minutes before the start of the round, Betel had already pulled out of the final, and Rpownz was nowhere to be seen. So Ochey and Gohoq stood in valiantly to take their places after 10 minutes had passed beyond the official start time. The first map seemed to show very much the FR TR battle that we would be here to watch, Ochey scoring so many completes that one wonders how he didn't make it into the final originally. Bleees briefly rejoined us at this point, to swear about his internet for a bit, before ragequitting. A nice Whiskypickle map saw Xorcist creep up the scoreboard with some stunningly quick times, followed by the intense pressures of wide cheese turnarounds in @264091, these high pressures seemed to affect nobody (except myself) , with loads of completions and some great times. Next we had the new Dprocik map (@5384241), this is tricky at the best of times, but in tournament pressure, proved to be too much for many of our contenders, Only Xorcist, Mezarbekcisi, Ochey and Eduardomol managed to score completions here! We then went onto another new monster, made by Artk (@5134116), with lots of ice to lose your grip on, this one caused lots of trouble, doubtless many players had never seen this map before, let alone complete it, and seemed clueless initially about what to do. Overcoming adversity through strife, both Cloude and Xorcist managed to pull out some completions here, and take the lead on the competition. Bleees decided, at this point, to rejoin the game to throw a spanner into the works, asking for his score not to be counted due to the fact he'd missed more than he had played, I was happy to oblige. The audience choice map happened to be Betels masterpiece of precision (@1111252), possibly a sympathy vote due to his absence, this was attempted very well, with Mezarbekcisi, Cloude, Franquin and Mcsguigf getting two completions! Bleees then went in with the fastest time (46.95s after having pulled out of the competition) causing mass scoreboard failure and huge confusion. The top 3 times for the final map were Xorcist with 59.7, Mezarbekcisi with 60.87 and Franquin with 69.37, the scores going into the last map were: Cloude 36, Xorcist 35, Ochey 31, Franquin 30, Mezarbekcisi 27, Eduardomol 27, Mcsguigf 14 and Gohoq 12 Then with Xorcist's fastest time on his only completion, he earned 6 points to take him to a total of 41. Cloude managed to finish 3rd and have one other competion, only earning 4 points, taking him to 40. Ochey sadly did not complete, so Franquin and Mezarbekcisi capitalised on the situation, taking 4 and 9 points respectively. Mcsguigf earned a solid 5 points on this last map to take us to the final scores of: Xorcist, 1st place with 41 points, earning 1000 cheese. Cloude, 2nd with 40 points, earning 300 cheese. Mezarbekcisi, 3rd with 36 points, earning 100 cheese. Franquin, 4th with 34 points, earning 100 cheese. Ochey, 31, Eduardomol 27, Mcsguigf 19, Gohoq 12 Thanks for playing to everyone involved, it has been a lot of fun to see you all play, and thank you to Makinit for kindly streaming the final, hopefully the recording will be available on his channel for a few weeks if you wanted to watch it. I hope to run something like this again soon. |
