We wanted to stop this, so we introduced the shift. Extending events to 2 weeks to reduce players frustration of missing out, and going back to the old mechanics, distributing rewards for actually playing the game and not some alienating nonsense gameplay.

I feel your problem was try to do both. At least for the non-buggy events, very few people I know complained about the event themselves; but everyone I asked agreed the current quality of the event you made pre-shift was perfect if extended to 2 weeks (we all want some down time after all!). I personally stopped playing the second you introduced those shaman tickets / adventure tickets. There's nothing satisfying about earning a number towards a goal for me. And having content adventures just is not even slightly the same; we don't want to feel forced to play parts of the game we got bored of long ago / never liked just to earn rewards; again, so long as the events aren't broken, most people I know liked the pre-shift events.

As far as announcements and keeping us up-to-date; it's (usually) fine not to tell us anything until close to release, but if you're making a big change / have already leaked info on something, then keep us informed! like the name change update; at least say out-right your putting it on hold because of adventures, so those of us trying to do damage control for you have proof that's the reason, rather than trying to show people a post saying all your work is going on adventures, and trying to make them use the logical parts of their brain to realize that means your not working on _, _, and _.

Edit: I'm also not sure why we have community managers when I never see them (admittedly I only hang out in the Atelier 801 / Fortoresse sections of the forum). People occassionally make suggestions / complaints about the game / forum, and we have no knowledge about if you secretly marked it as a good idea/remark, or if you think the idea/complaint sucks and we should go **** ourselves. Even a "sounds interesting! we'll look into it" every 1/15 suggestions / complaints would be WONDERFUL! :)

At least I can go home peacefully hoping no ones played the event and finished it.

Well, since it's taking a bit long, even after I had lunch, I might aswell go to OMSI (bus simulator) and drive XD

Waiting for the game to be fully on so that admins fix the bugs that for sure everyone will be complaining about is better than just them letting us play the game with full of bugs and broken things so let's just wait.

indeed, they should focus on fixing gameplay bugs instead of releasing new items/events and so on
