C'mon, guys, we're all pals here! Also, that's not a bad question at all.
It's not just because players want cheese to purchase in shop, it's because it's high in player demand. Some mice want cheese to offer for more valuable items, or, in case someone is begging on their knees asking for cheesecoins, and the player having cheesecoins could offer mice for as much consumables or whatever they have to offer. Bargaining on cheesecoins is pretty strategic method. It's not just because some players are lazy.
Also, Firebluestar shouldn't have to tell you about asking another player for a relic. They should know that's common sense for us all.
