I believe it would be your new IGN. as you just use your old one to login to TFM.

The old username of the player will still work, I had someone gift me through my old username once before (only to confirm if my old username still lingers and is still me) and I still received it, despite having a new username. So either or will work.

if i haven't already got it, i'd love the event fur before it ends

i'd go online to see if i have it or not but tfm doesn't work where i am currently at
