Two months is perfectly reasonable for regular players. I myself will be going on vacation for 14 days in a few weeks, so I'm glad I won't miss out on an entire new event during that time.

I do believe that Fairy Lights was a Christmas event title, so you may have a chance!

here, i drew a pic that shows how to get it. (note, i only showed how to get ONE of the next fruits. so that means to get 3 tomatoes you need 9 daisies, not 3, cuz 3 daisies only give you 1 tomatoe.. and so on. you get it.)

The only reason these players are finishing the event quickly is because, they are playing tfm for hours and hours each day nonstop. That's why they themselves finished the event so quickly.

It's not really that, if you're lucky you can finish the event in 6 seeds.
Since ? seeds can give peppers.
