Hmm, the Spiritual Cheif seems a bit OP.
Reviving mice, teleporting mice and giving a speed boost to mice around is OP and WILL ruin the game. Immediately.
More time is pretty good though.

Wind Master seems pretty legit. I always imagined the shaman possibly being faster and better than the other mice.

Mechanic. Hmm. Anti Spirit seems like an... interesting concept... would like to see how that works out.
Exploding sheep? If it is as strong as a bomb it will be too OP. Is that a reference to some other game I can't remember?
Deleting items will be a good thing to have.
I don't see how more balls summoned will be that... useful... you may have to test that.

Maybe these could be disabled for certain minigames like Survivor.
The thing is, some of these things might be VERY exploitable. A rule should be set so to perm maps it must not be possible only for Shamans with certain skills. You should disable these skills in the Map editor for map testing.

After further thought, Yes, it may be too exploitable. Maybe you guys could make it a minigame of somesort? I would like to see how you guys would balance it and how it would all play out.

Lemodile a dit :
Ice master class. Dumping random ideas that would fit a name like this.

- Freeze all mice/dynamics etc. on screen for 3/5/7/9/10 seconds, allowing you to build freely.
- Get more icecubes.
- Shaman gets X amount of snowballs.
- Spawn "snowy" planks by default (purely graphic, like we had in winter updates).

Not sure what else would be appropriate but I can think of lots more.

Such a good idea for a class and not to overpower aswell

Sydoline a dit :

Spiritual Chief tree: The skills of this tree enable the shaman to be better at helping mice.
Examples :
- Resuscitates (1,2,3,4,5) mice (limited to one use per map).
- Adds (5,10,15,20,25) seconds to the time of the game/map.
- Teleporrts a mouse near the shaman ((1,2,3,4,5) uses per map).
- Mice near the shaman get a (2,4,6,8,10)% speed boost.

Wind Master tree: The skills of the tree improves the shaman directly.
Examples:
- Increases the running speed of the shaman by (4,8,12,16,20)%.
- Increases the jump height of the shaman by (4,8,12,16,20)%.
- Provides the ability to propels himself forward (dash) by pressing twice and quickly the right/left button. Usable every 10 seconds.

Mechanic tree: The skills of this tree allow the shaman to build better constructions.
Examples:
- Explosive sheep: Summons a sheep that explodes after 5 seconds.
- Unlocks an "anti-spirit" that attracts mice.
- Allows the shaman to remove (1,2,3,4,5) items summoned on a map.
- When the shaman summon a ball, (1,2,3,4,5) additional balls will be summoned as well.

Spirit Chief- Im not sure what Resuscitates mean so ignoring that, how ever the time add is needed, I support that. Teleportation I find that really really REAALLLY pointless, annoying, and troll begging. For 1. Shaman will teleport us to death, 2. Favos, favos every where. 3. Pointless use/won't get used. 4. Sham will try and block us from the hole as far as they can. 5. ">[name] omg pls pls pls i ned 1111ssstttt pls pls fav me pls pls u qt" (begging). Now with the mice near the shaman... again ssame type of thing with the teleporting-trolling and favos every where.
Spirit Chief Suggestions- Replace teleportation with a nice spawn radius, would be more better for helping mice. Replace Speed boosts with a faster build speed, making it faster and easier for shaman and the mice to finish the map.

Wind Master- Running speed of shaman-eheherrhm A bit unfair, plus with lag you'll just tap right off the map. None the less with jumping and speed in some of the water vanilla maps will cause chaos. And with the jumping, I'm neutral how ever I'm more on the disagreement. The dash is perf, perfect.
Wind Master Suggestions- Larger spirit boost, as in when spiriting the boost of spark will blow the wind to make the mice a bit farther. Maybe the ability to die down some of the wind on wind maps?

Mechanic- Explosive sheep. Explosive Sheep-no. It should be some thing better to suit a mouse or a tribe(as in real life tribes..) like item (trap that snaps mice away) Anti Spirit....I need this, we need this. This should of been created already to pin them so they don't troll your build.. Removing items are nice how ever i think you should be able to move the item not make it disapear. The ball thing seems uneccisary...then again party every map is the common (shaman for like 6 maps in a row "party party").
Mechanic Suggestions- Again change the sheep to some thing more dealing with the main point of the game, tribes and mice. Moving planks instead of Removing them, annnd balls seem uneccisary.

These are some mostly excellent criticisms. I would like to add my points.
For mouse revival, not a good idea as written. First, it needs to scale with the number of mice in the room, otherwise it will be really powerful in maps with a few people and not as powerful in others. Another problem is being able to choose the mouse you want revived, how will shamans be able to do this. Also, where will the dead mouse be revived, and will they keep their cheese? I could see this revival system lending itself easily to favoritism/quick map completion.
Adding time might sound good, but keep in mind it can be used to troll if the mice aren't smart enough to /mort, and it might be annoying if the extra time has the shaman and a few mice just standing there. Also, how does it interact with shaman death?
For teleporting a mouse near the shaman, not good as written. It seems like an overpowered troll tactic. First, it should only be available to the shaman after a mouse enters the hole, like how ice is (so it can't be used to deny firsts/pick favorites). Second, suffers from the same scaling problem as the revive ability.
For mice near the shaman getting a speed boost, no. First, doesn't look powerful at all, I would rather pick a different skill. The only real use I see out of this for helping mice is standing on the edge of the platform so that mice can airjump farther. Second, it could screw with walljumping. Third it would need some good ui indicator that there is a speed buff. Fourth, looks too much like a RPG ability.

Running speed could make walljumping too hard. Dash looks interesting, but I am afraid of accidentally activating it when I am trying to walljump.

Explosive sheep might work, but looks a bit too gimmicky. Anti-spirit sounds interesting, but I feel that spirit kind of already fulfills the same role. Removing items from the map has so much troll potential (remove the b anchor), and it might be hard to select the right item interface wise. It might be useful for building, but I don't see it currently. For more balls, looks like a troll totem ability.

Thisisnobody a dit :
Some ideas for the different skill trees - each ability gives you an advantage, but also a tradeoff/disadvantage to keep the difficulty balanced.

Spiritual:
can respawn after dying (only once)
- tradeoff: only half of his saves count if he decides to resurrect himself (he can choose if he wants to respawn or stay dead)

Windmaster:
carrying cheese doesn't make shaman heavier
- tradeoff: can't attach himself to balloons

Mechanic:
can move while spawning an object
- tradeoff: smaller spawn range

Generally, I think most skills should come with some sort of drawback, otherwise the game would become too easy.

OMG these are awesome ideas, and it would be better if abilities were designed this way. This is how skills need to be designed in transformice. I like the Mechanic idea the most, as it completely changes how the shaman plays. Spiritual sounds like a good idea, a hefty time penalty would be a good tradeoff for respawning. As written, there is no drawback to taking spiritual, its more like a free resurrect at a price. Windmaster is also an awesome idea.

Thank you for a response. I also agree with your post, however even if its one mouse that entered the hole before you can use teleportation, still with the other things you can easily favo...not forgetting every tfm member has like 5 accounts so...yeahhh

Possibly if a shaman needs to remove something, the item flashes to give mice a warning instead of instant disappearance which helps prevent trolling.
As the others have said, many of the perks can lead to easier favouritism. If there was a double sham map (doesn't have to be though) and a shaman tried to favo their friend, but their friend got killed, they could just revive them again, which will make the game less enjoyable.

For the Mechanics tree, it would be nice to have a faster spawning time for objects~

Some suggestions for the Wind Master tree:

Shamans have life counters- if a shaman dies, it can respawn @ the shaman spawn point; life # depends on level
Increasing the item spawning radius; length increment increases as level increases

Like the idea of the item flash. And if a perks are only an issue on a double sham map, don't enable it on double sham maps (like how hard mode is disabled on those maps).

Faster spawning time sounds good if it has a drawback. And the time reduction shouldn't be too much, otherwise the map can be spammed with objects which lag the game.
