nope, people were complaining too much that the prices were too high for people to save up in such a limited time period. I liked them, because if you owned them you could gift them to others but w/e

You're talking about the weekly furs that were available for only a week.. that's when people complained

collectors were special items that could only be obtained over a week or two back when the events were weekly

during the first week (when the event was going on)

they could be obtained with cheese and fraises

the second week (the week after the event)

fraises only

the third week

they said it was to make your items rarer and more precious but we all knew that was bullshit and it was just a sketchy marketing strategy to take money out of the completionists hands because they had to buy fraises because they had a time limit

but yeah the strategy failed

people complained it was pointless, a cheap way to get money, and overall a bad idea.

so yeah they removed the collectors feature.


all the items that were collectable are now permanently in the store and all the items that are new to the store will be there all the time

It happened to me once

I'm pretty sure weekly/monthly were the same thing. The hideous goddess fur, the scientist fur, the leprechaun, etc.

I was talking about the system in 2015... every month there would be a new fur and items, even though the events lasted 2 months
