So it has been 3 years since this update rolled out huh.. Time sure runs fast.. I guess everyone has gotten used to it and a lot of players have forgotten the old tricks, as Skills have simply made the game.. well simple.

I am one of those little guys who have not forgotten the roots, of where we all started. I still use and perfect the old tricks like Cannon gravity, Spirit jumping, Air stop, Box jumping, Cannon jumping, Speed building and Speed spawning while flying very fast in mid air.. and other tricks I have learned over the years. (I so miss old #fight :/)
Those are skills developed over a lot of hard practice, coordination and fast thinking as well as fast reaction

I once said and I will repeat it again: Skills are pretty fun, but as ironic as it seems, Skills reduced the Skill level of the game. Why bother to create something amazingly unique, when you can simply place a long plank, bind it with bandages and watch saves crawl into your profile.
While Divine mode is a great addition, it would be even better if a lot of skills we're disabled while using it. Now that would be Divine as hell, especially on the maps like we have today

I really do miss old times.. hopefully I'm not the only one who feels that way

I kind of like it myself.
I mean, it's fun to have another goal than just get cheese.
Now you work for XP too and you want to use Divine Mode and save the most mice for the most XP, even though Divine Mode is incredibly hard to build it.
SERIOUSLY HARD!

It's just sad that you're automatically a noob if you don't have skills like Ambulance, Personal Teleporter, et cetera.
You're a noob if you're a low level, apparently.
Besides, it's so easy now. You can win so many maps by just using a Spring.
Teleporting makes favos more easy, too.

I kind of miss when the skill system wasn't a thing.
I've mixed feelings about this. Still, it's nice for a seperate goal to work for.

actually, you can use hard and you'll get the same amout of xp per mouse (20 xp)

What? Sentinutellas have told me that you get more XP in Divine Mode.
The only reason I play in Divine Mode is to get more XP.

idk if you're referring to my post here or not, but divine mode exp is only greater than normal mode exp. Hard and Divine are indeed the same, as Opical and the link show.

By the way, what's the source? How do you even know this?
A user and a moderator told me that you get more XP in Divine Mode than you get in Hard Mode, but I'm pretty sure that's false.

When the Divine mode was introduced, people we're gaining I believe 40 exp per save. It was believed that it was simply too much and it was very easy to level up, so in about 2-4 days after the release, they toned it down to the same amount as the Hard mode saves: 20 exp per save.

So this formula here is currently valid and is currently in-game.

It was 30 exp per save, originally. (Assuming you were at least level 61, since the exp calculation was normal mode x 3) It also granted infinite summoning range.
