even if its fulled its purpose no reason to delete it
yet P4-P9 submission are so harsh on perming p1 maps
maybe you should be less strict or lower your standards when reviewing?


last question from me for a while

why does the BR fourm have discussion threads on P4, P4, P6, ect maps and EN dont?
or just has no one made them for EN yet?

Thanks :) I was hoping there was an easier way that didn't have to make use of joints.

Unforchenetly tig made it so a lot of things use XML editing to make maps

PM me ingame and i'll be glad to fill you all in c: after all you taught me, I could teach you some stuff.

I think noone made that yet.

No discussion threads in the BR forums are officials. They were projects made by me and by the players, so we could have more fun together.

First we made this "ONLINE MAPPER'S CHAT", like a place to say hi for other mappers everyday and have fun. But than people started discussing new maps there. But these discussions were nice and they were getting lost between flood... like "hi", "how are u", blablabla... and people were asking for opinions on their maps and such... such a mess, tbh.

So than we came up with a plane to separate discussions and we made all those discussion threads.
So now, instant of going on the chat topic to talk abt maps, they have a better place to go.
Whenever you wanna discuss about a mechanism map or ask opinions on your mechanism map, u can ask on these chats.
Some players help me a lot by posting "Will be discussed" new maps there, so people can catch up with the evaluations and say what they expect. Idk, its just smth we like to do...

Also other nice projects we have, like special 'helper's groups' were done to help players with tips. Also tip threads. For example, if u know a lot about a category, u can create a thread go help people doing a better map. Same for tutorials and such.
We also have unoficial contests, that are now open for all community, because its also in english. As u can see here at this link -> Topic-279221

Anyway,
I think everyone can make it. I'm sure, just like u, many other people here wished to have this get-together with the community.
If my english was THAT fine I'd help ya :-) but unfortunatelly its not :-(

Anyway, feel free to come over BR forums. We don't mind about speaking english in our chat thread. On the contrary, its nice to see new faces.

Please God no. If we have a lot of maps already, we should now be filtering out maps that 'aren't as good' while simutaneously being more picky about the maps that are let in. So long as the game doesn't fall apart, Transformice's map rotation will finally reach a point of equilibrium where we no longer have crappy maps.

Eliminating the P1 thread and P1'ing maps in each category that fall under the 'not quite a higher perm' map will eventually improve our rotation since mapcrew is naturally more strict about perms in those threads.

I have two questions. Is is possible to convert a P44 map into a P22 one? Or is it the case where once it's deleted you can't do anything with it anymore.

Also, when exporting maps would it be best to just export it as a tribe house map as opposed to exporting it into P0 rotation?
I ask this because it appears as though there are far more advantages to exporting maps to P22; namely: you wouldn't need to pay any cheese to export it, you can still submit the map to higher perm categories for review, and you wouldn't be exposing your map to the possibility of deletion (which would prohibit you from editing it).
I guess I just don't see the benefit of exporting maps into the P0 category (especially if your original intent is to get the map into a higher perm category).

Ask a mapcrew memeber to P22 your P44 maps, simple as that

There is no diffrence with P22 and P0 you can edit both of them and they both cost cheese to make
but if you want to stay safe make it P22 so public doesnt vote it to P44 in rotation

I have personally asked mapcrew to do this for me before, so yes, it is possible.

Simple, just add linear damping that's less than 30. the smaller the number, the faster it falls. greater than 30 would cause it to float lol

Yeah,but if you wanna the ground not move(change his direction while falling when the mice jumps on it)i'll suggest you to add mass 9999 and fixed rotation 1
