That can't be it. There haven't been artifacts on my turn.

it spawns randomly, i got 16 saves when it spawned on my turn :p

I know it's random, but it never spawned on my turns. I haven't had anything spawn on my turns. I've gotten over 50+ saves already, but manage to have of these somehow.

After writing the bit above, I had my shaman turn. Still no artifacts, but my number raised from 14 to 15.

It's the number of saves with artefacts. It was Meli said (in w)

How often do they spawn? I see one every 5 maps or so and if one icon is to save enough mice with an artefact that will be tough as it could be ages before one spawns on your turn and god for bid hope it is not on a duo shaman map were you will be killed by selfish shamans

edit:Wait does it spawns at a random time, not automatically on your map like how these collection events usually are?

edit2: I've had a couple maps with artifacts on my shaman turns since I last edited this. But what's been said about saves with artifacts contributing to that number doesn't match up with my experience. Especially since I didn't have artifacts on my first few turns to contribute to that number.

jesus christ ive been playing this game since 2012 and events in early 2017 were already the most annoying ive ever seen but this one is just ridiculous, good luck with playing on racing with all of these AMAZING pickups ruining the gameplay. im looking forward to the next events, keep it up guys. events used to be something fun and special coming once in a few months but now its just an annoying ritual, new unnecessary stuff going on every 2 weeks or so (and you cant even achieve anything new, just the old badges, what a fantastic idea) at least dont include this kind of stuff on racing, not only because stupid tryhards like me cant enjoy beating other butthurt people but also because its just impossible to finish some maps without a shaman if you get cursed by that thing laying on your back. if anyone cares about events then hes gonna play on vanilla or regular rooms, not racing. im just waiting for it to appear on bootcamp

Yeah a few maps have them in impossible places or a massive pain to get to and a lot of shamans are not even trying to build to them
