I don't really get you. Are you trying to tell me that staff wont have a certain thing? What is it.

They can still add colors to help distinguish staff. For example, CFM is HTML and the staff on there have colors.

I think he's just saying we wouldn't be able to tell them apart from normal players.

There will be staff on the new forums as well, and they will be the only one's with the moderating (the forums) powers still.

I suppose that might actually be possible, but will probably complicate the behind-the-scenes stuff.

Although there will be those kids that rage because Google Chrome downloaded a 'virus' or their parents dont let them download a modern browser.

I think Brownthebro was referring to the fact that staff on these forums have access to HTML tags such as <[url=][/url]b> to which I refer him to the first post of the thread where I (tried to) explain it all. Staff will still have their perks on the new forums, even if not these tags they can use in posts. The sentinel team and other staff aren't going to come across any problems with this.

As for saying the HTML forums aren't needed, I say codswallop. Since Google's bots can't browse Flash, none of these pages are indexed, with the newer forums they will be, and that will lead to Transformice getting more places on search results and thus more players. Ontop of that, I sincerely hope that the mass of hacks linked to on the first few pages of a Google search for "Transformice" will be pushed back. And yeah, there's a heap of other benefits of the new forums, being able to stay logged in, have threads marked as read, browse from mobile, etc.

I'd love to see this too but unfortunately HTML5 isn't that great for such a large and complex game right now on most systems :(
