Aleeeeeh a dit : Sample case! (aka me and my horribad profile I know shh) I've spent 3.5 years on this game already, and assuming I hadn't bought ANYTHING over those 3 years I'd just have barely enough to get two balloons + their customizations. I agree with Aleh + practically most others; this is quite ridiculous in terms of pricing if it really is meant to be a "thank you for being involved". This feels rather more like a "hey, we're letting you have these cool, cute items like you saw in events and really wanted, but we're making it impossibly expensive to get with cheese so that you're either forced to buy fraises or forced to stay with us forever just to afford this item~!". It gets really discouraging having to grind each time I want a customization or a fur item and I know in my case I've wanted to just QUIT because it's such a waste of time. :( |

Artemissage a dit : The whole point is wanting mice to buy fraises instead of trying to use cheese, they don't make anything if we use cheese to buy things. which is why as time goes on, we no longer get free items from events, furs seem to get more and more expensive, and so are customizations and things for items we see once every twenty minutes or whatever. It doesn't matter how unhappy the community is over the prices, they're not going to change them. 'Then leave' is a response I've gotten out of Meli before about being unhappy with something or other, I wouldn't be surprised if Sydoline stepped in and repeated those sentiments and all of that after a while. The cheese AND fraise prices are higher, with the fraise prices still being the more reasonable of the to, they figure people will buy currency instead of anything else and that is what will happen really. We need to make money, etc is the reason behind that, which is reasonable as they need to continue making other games for us even though we're clearly here pretending to be pixel mice. |

Fraises do not "ruin the point of the game." Fraises are probably the only reason this game is still even around. The company has to make a profit to keep the servers running and paying their employees somehow. A game like this isn't run by a high school in their free time. This is a legitimate company. It is fine that you do not want to buy fraises, that is entirely your choice. However, you have no right to complain that people get items before you because they bought them with fraises. It is not like the game prevents you from buying fraises, you are just choosing the more difficult way of getting the items. That is your fault, and your fault only. The company needs to stay afloat somehow, and fraises are a good way to keep that going, but even then they have trouble. Please just deal with it, as they are the reason this exists at this point. As for the update, contrary to what make people here are saying, I like this update a lot. It's a bit expensive, but I've already bought some customs and are enjoying using them. Although it is just an aesthetic change, it's kind of refreshing after seeing the same stuff every 2 minutes for 4 years. People got mad at furs even though they were just an aesthetic change, but now apparently we can't get enough of them. Eventually I think the fuss will settle down and when more people start getting the shaman customs, there will be even more variety than just outfits, instead of everyone having the same thing. A good amount of people enjoy being unique and this will give them that chance. Dernière modification le 1403843700000 |

I can't buy fraises. What do I do? Suffer because I can't? That's horribly unfair. Yeah, I get they need money. Cool. But why do I have to suffer because I can't give them any? It's almost as frustrating as the games that give you an edge over everyone else because you paid a few bucks. I don't want to be the 'poor kid' left out of everything because I can't pay. I'm sure other people feel the same. I suppose I didn't clarify enough in my last post: I am fine with fraises being used, I would, however, like the currency to be saves for the shaman tab because it makes so much more sense to me. |

Really want Egyptian style items. I probably wouldn't be able to afford them, but they'd be nice to see either way. |

We're not saying (or at least I'm not) that fraises ruin the point of the game. The point of these arguments is to lower cheese costs -- I, for one, understand that Atelier needs fraise income to maintain themselves, but I just wish that these items weren't so unattainable with cheese. It's lovely to have variety with the game, that's awesome. Of course players won't be driven away especially if they've formed strong bonds with people over these past few years, months, whatever that they've played. But having to watch as newer players can have these chamane items/furs/customs is annoying. I see players with less than a month behind their account date with more furs/customs than I do and it's like, ???? I put so much time into this game only to be beaten by some kid with access to their parents' bank account. Heck to the no. //SPON I WILL HAIL YOU 5EVA AS EGYPTIAN QUEEN |

Artemissage a dit : You might not see it as fair, but of course the game is going to reward the people who pay. The person gave them money. If they wanted to pay the company without getting anything that would be donating. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that legal matters, or at least something, prevent us from donating directly to the game. So we have to be rewarded with stuff for paying. I'm sorry that you have to suffer, but the company isn't going to flake out on making money because a small minority see it as "unfair." That's why the currency wouldnt be saves either, as it would just be the same thing as cheese, if not higher because it's generally easier to get saves, as most players i've seen have more saves than cheese. As Queerie stated, you would probably just be told to leave if you complained to the admins. No one is forcing you to play. |

Crashwolf a dit : Please don't pull me into stating your view point if that is what you're trying to do? I don't agree with you at all. I was intending to illustrate the stance the admins being generally rude on speaking to their fan base when push comes to shove. Sydoline is being lovely right now, her response was very poised, but since it obviously has not been accepted and is being questioned what I was saying is that a harsher retort is likely to come soon, not that I think someone should 'just leave because no one is forcing them to play'. Atelier801 is a business, the level of player contentedness doesn't matter more than money does. That is how business works, this is why it won't change. It would simply be more ideal if they would be straight forward in making this known. |

I wasn't pulling you into my point of view. I was just repeating what you said about an admins remark, hence why I said "as Queerie stated." |

Which is why I had a question mark there. I wasn't fully sure of what you were trying to say beyond what felt to me like 'this is my view point, so nobody has the right to complain', which I merely wanted no parts of. I'm very glad you're happy with your new shaman customizations and I hope you continue to be in the future as they add visual interest to your builds and all of that. |

I wasn't saying that no one can complain about my viewpoint. I was saying no one should have the right to complain about other people buying stuff with fraises. There are points in time where I don't have the funds to pay for stuff in this game, so I can't buy items with that. If people get an items before me by paying in that time period, I would tell myself I don't have a right to complain because it's not the company's fault that I couldn't pay money for it. But I guess I should change my wording from "no right" to "no point" to make it seem less harsh. Because complaining to the company that you can't spend money isn't really something they can't help, and it's not like they are going to give special pardons either. That's the point I was trying to make. |

Personally, I don't mind that people can get items with frasies, but my problem with this update is that while the cheese prices for a ton of items in the shop are ALREADY ridiculously high, they just keep on adding items more and more expensive than the latter? Yeah, I get it, cheese items shouldn't be easy to get.. But they shouldn't take RIDICULOUS amounts of time to get either! They're making the game more and more grindy by the minute and no one seems to care. Not everyone can buy frasies, but we would still like to enjoy the game.. It's just that, the more grindy it gets the harder it is to enjoy it. And again, no one seems to give a flying rat's butt about that, either. '-' Dernière modification le 1403857920000 |

I don't think I have ever told anyone to "Go away" or "Leave the game" because they disagreed with our decisions. I perfectly understand that not everyone is happy with everything we do and I'm forwarding everything you say to the dev teams. So please, don't include me or some other admins in these inappropriate remarks you may have read somewhere else. a dit : Out of respect for the players who purchased Fraises and bought these new items, we won't change the currency. We thought of adding a third currency but rejected it after studying it as it would have been messy and confusing in the end. The price of the two sets won't change for the same reason. However, we'll analyze everything next week and decide if a change has to be made regarding the prices of the future sets. Shaman items are a new step in the customization AFTER dressing up your mouse. We wanted these items to "stand out" and be more or less rare. In our opinion new mice will be more attracted to hats for their mouse. That's why we consider that the price for shaman items shouldn't be "new mice friendly". This is also the reason as of why the customization of shaman items is way more expensive than regular hats. Getting new items for your shaman is a new step, customizing it to any color your want is another one. Regarding the prices being high, we never intented for players to get the full sets on the first day. A lot of players complained because they had no goal anymore, all titles were unlocked and almost all hats were bought. These set are supposed to be a challenge or an achievement for these players who want to buy them with cheese. Dernière modification le 1403870880000 |

Sydoline a dit : I joined 3.6 years ago, Garnetflash joined 3.5 years ago, and I don't know about the others. We're not new mice and we still think they're too expensive to the point where it no longer is a goal to play for, but an impossible feat (3 months and a half for 2 balloons). I don't think this was taken into consideration. Current items can't be cheaper now and I fully understand that, but thanks for showing us you're gonna re discuss prices for future items. Sydoline a dit : I'm pretty sure that no one has all titles now that there is divine saves. Also even before this I looked on cfm and it seems like only around 10 people have all titles and all stars in bootcamp so I don't think It's a lack of goals to set. Other than that I understand that the prizes are here to stay and I'm glad to see that you are listening to what we have to say. Other than that I would like an option to turn of these new skins just like we have an option to turn of mice clothes since I personally really enjoy the minimalist feel of the game(also why I use minimalist mode even though my pc can handle normal easily) |

Sydoline a dit : What you said is surely, true (For cheese), but they aren't exactly "Old Player Friendly" either. Also even when buying parts of a set over time to obtain one would take massive amounts of time on the game and playing. Most people don't have the time to do so. As said above, even some 3 - Almost 4 year old veterans can't really grind up that much or barely enough to get a set in total. The prices in fraises however are entirely "New Player Friendly" as anyone who is capable can spend however much they want on such items. |
