I don't think that inactive should be deleted because they are some players out of town or busy of something. |

Since my thread got closed for being to similar (not surprised), posting my suggestion for this here (note: this suggestion DOES NOT delete accounts, but simply frees up names): Should inactive usernames be up for grabs? Topic: Should inactive accounts have their username (display name) up for grabs, both for new players and in anticipation for the upcoming name-change update? Active (must meet at least one criteria) -Logged in within 6 months of last login date -High stats (over 50 cheese?) -High total play time (over 5 hours?) -Fraise purchased (real life money invested perms the account) -Email validated *All of these must be false for an account to be considered inactive; thus if even one of these is true, an account will be safe* What happens to these accounts These accounts would still exist (not deleted), just their name would be taken. Think of it like a reverse name change; instead of a name of your choice, you get some random jumble of numbers or something for your name. Or maybe your old name would have some special character added before it (kinda like how extinction accounts have a "+"; maybe a "-"), and upon logging in these players would be prompted for a new name (a free name change for the hassle; not that many of these accounts would ever log in again in theory). How they would log in depends on how the update is done; many games have your original username stay the same, with just the "display name" everyone sees changing. If Atelier 801 chooses this method, then removing names would be easy. There's a few ways this could go, all while preserving the original account. The Logic The criteria for inactivity are meant to ascertain what users have truly invest themselves into the game, and are most likely to log in again at a later date. And by only taking the game and not deactivating / deleting accounts, this prevents players from losing their account, but instead just their name. While this still might suck, it isn't hard to meat at least one the the above criteria, which would make your account safe from this. This also wouldn't remove your name by default once all of the criteria is met, but only make the name available to be taken; until then the name would remain safe. |

It's a love hate thing. They may not play anymore/grew out of TFM, which would be a valid reason to delete it. What if they decide to come back though? That's not fair, I feel like I wouldn't quite enjoy that if I was in the situation. I support it more than I don't but for now, it's not necessary. |

It really depends on what is truly inactive. Obviously accounts no one has logged on for years and has under 100 cheese and no purchased fraises should be deleted and have the name up for grabs. theres a name i want and im gonna have it dammit :V |

I agree!! but only the ones who got on and only played like 2 or 1 rounds, not ones that kinda-of actually tried, dunno' but ya! i really dislike my username and i hope a lot of the useless hoard of non-used accounts get deleted. |

I would have to disagree. Even though people want to use the name again, I don't see the point of this otherwise. Like someone said before (I'm not going to bother checking who), what if the person wants to come back a few months/years later? Also, how long do you suppose the person has to log in until the account is deleted??? Either way I'd have to disagree. There's really no point in this besides wanting to use the name again. That would be nice, though. But no. Dernière modification le 1463780040000 |

Accounts that haven't been used for several years and have low stats are in the process of being deleted and those names can be reused when the name change is released. Still don't know when it will happen, but it will. Nobody would delete an account due to inactivity, especially if they have bought fraises or have high stats. |

Half support. But maybe there should be a delete button, but you can only activate it using a code that will be sent to the email you account is connected to. And to deactivate it (only when you changed your mind about the account) the same code will be used. (I said maybe) I don't know though, I'm expecting a person that will give me the cons of this idea. |

No support, because What if people are perma banned on there main? And sometime they won't be unbanned? Like example, People got perma banned for steam fraud and some people didn't even use it but they get banned for it anyways, It's just alittle dumb lol |
