Today marks the last month of Create a Badge, and with that we bring tidings and surprises!

• The exact time that submissions will end is 23:59 PST on the date. You should take advantage of those last hours if you can!


• Those who noticed the hidden easter egg in the announcement and messaged one of the judges will be given a secret prize! The message read "If you're reading this you're a great detective!" and was visible upon highlighting the space after the bullet points in the rules section. This will stay for the remainder of the announcement.


• Friidayy, a professional artist and one of the judges, will be drawing the 1st and 2nd place winners' mice, the latter being only a headshot.


• Pinkemena, an aspiring artist and one of the judges, will be drawing the 1st and 2nd place winners' mice accompanied by a retro-meets-pop art touch. 2nd place will be more simplistic.


• Translations for the announcement were ordered and will be placed as soon as possible. Want to tell your community about Create a Badge? Give us a PM.


• As some of you may know, Atelier 801's 2D graphic artist Maharadjah has said a few pages back that she will be posting a step-by-step tutorial on how she makes badges. She'll be happy to show us some enlarged images of official badges after the contest ends :).


• The rules are undergoing compression. Don't fret, they won't affect anything you've already done!


• Don't feel like publicizing your badge on this thread for everyone to see? You can now PM Puffpapa (and soon a special little assistant) as a means of submitting your entry ;).


• Don't feel confident in your badge? You can contact me and I will tell you what you can improve on as per the rules.


• Eeeeeeeek!!! Judges' favorites will be given a 100 fraises prize!! That's 6 extra prizes! Every judge will have a distinct 'favorite.'


• The first 50 60 70 participants will receive a humble little edit with their username!
