maps like @4085306 are just pretty much traced from a picture and permed which is much art theft.
its the rules to copy someone else map but we can copy someone else art and get rewarded?

not just p1 maps but art brush ones too like @3421888, @3579914 and @3572354 and many more lag hardcore and some are even traced from pictures

Well I think people use it because of its detail potential. You can use so many things with the editor, and also they only lag if you use too many lines. Simply those hardcore lag maps were either made with no line management or because of incredible detail. I believe your "nothing special" idea only applies to those maps with no artistic sense in them. You must be describing those maps with rushed art and no influence on the map as nothing special.

Also, I doubt that the majority of people can just make a map out of freehanded lines without using others' art. Most people have a picture they use and then they create it. This is the same with rectangle/circle art. Viprin art gives us the advantage of detail and perception while also allowing for awesome gameplay. The line art maps that are "rewarded" should have a unique feel to them like having the art and gameplay be speshul.

I agree that your first code as an example justifies your reasoning as I see it as random art with random gameplay. However the other maps you provided I see are unique. They are not like the first one where mice have to get cheese in hole while [insertarthere] is watching. Those maps use the art in a creative way for interaction which you can't do in the real picture. The surroundings for those p5 maps are also different than the real thing in a way. It's basically putting art in a different place.

I think it would only be theft if people could export the original picture, which can't happen. Most people are basically recreating the art using just lines. Some come out to look 100% like the real thing while some have those "coloring outside the lines" or the close attempt flaw (usually if there's an outline).

In conclusion, line art maps can be special if done right and maybe even laggy if too much effort was used. I also explained how it wasn't exactly copying, but it may seem annoying if it's used like the p1 example you gave. People are adding on to the art with backgrounds, surroundings, and gameplay which is fine. Also, if you can create something freehanded (basically animals/cartoons/humans/anime/paintings/not sceneries) without any pictures of reference, you are a god.

p.s. If you expect people to use viprin lines by just looking at a picture and creating it without any tracing, it's basically how rectangle/circle art was made, except harder @_@
p.s.s. I have made some freehanded maps and they turned out fine, so I'm confident you can make things like sceneries/monsters like that too lol
