Hopefully people like Jamiison get into the Map Crew: people who have a good attitude, know a lot about maps and are fairly active. I myself won't be applying this time, mainly because I feel that the Map Crew is still a mess and that there is a shitton of work to do at the moment. Good luck to everyone who's applying though ^^

They will contact you through email if you have been chosen. Wait at least 2 weeks, and if no email has been sent to you, you probably weren't accepted.

I believe Cptp said it might take a bit more time since they probably have a huge influx of applications to sort through, correct me if I'm wrong.

Took me 3 hours.
Also you'll get notified 2 weeks following your submission.

As above, maybe longer. Would be nice if they told you if you're NOT accepted, though. Just so you don't keep your hopes up that it's just taking a while just to be disappointed more.

The biggest reason this statement is laughable, though, is that map crew is supposed to HELP users with their mapmaking needs, and this humor is multiplied by the fact that most of the map crew now is on /silence all the time.

I dont agree. Every time I try to contact a map-crew recently they've received the message and answer within a minute.

Sorry for going against you. I do admire your map-making though.

No need to get worked up boys. If I really wasnt old enough, I'm sure mapcrew would be able to figure that out pretty easily. Plus, I dont think I was selected anyway. :P

Please try to avoid turning this thread into a discussion about my personal mapmaking quality or character. I would be happy to discuss that with you in private, and I would be overjoyed if you have any suggestions on improving my maps, per the following post by gameplaygeek. And Arber: I'm sorry that your tribe fell apart. Please dont blame me for it.
