High Difficulty Maps (6-10): Accepted: Mastaoftime: @7196214 - Difficulty 6 Rejected: Sirakaba: @7173536 - The full anti-cloud grounds leaves you with little room or need for innovation. The most practical way of doing this would be with a v swing. There is also little room to correct any mistakes with your swing since everything is anti-cloud. Arnees: @7188666 - This seems like an okay cage map, but it simply doesn’t have enough unique aspects to it for us to consider it for rotation. We encourage an overhaul to the map design that would make the experience more fun. Anthonyjones: @6819354 - The building process on this map is actually quite boring, and there are aspects to this map that are quite confusing. For one, the large cloud ground could be easily mistaken as a no anchor zone, where in fact you can instead build right off of it until you collapse it with the black rectangle ground. Also, the black rectangle ground doesn’t behave like an anticloud, which would confuse players. This map is way too flawed to be accepted for rotation. Anthonyjones: @6444094 - As an antigravity version of @2447426, this seems to offer a new kind of building experience to the map. However, we feel that inverted gravity is not enough to make this map stand out on its own. Also, frustration can be a thing here since not only the mice have to be careful with the moving grounds, but the antigravity leaves them little chance to correct any mistake they have in their movements since they can’t jump. The moving grounds also limit your builds into being very precise, which actually makes it harder to be innovative. Mastaoftime: @7196238 - This map definitely has room for innovation, but it’s just way too frustrating to solve. The skull tokens add much unneeded difficulty to the map, and it doesn’t help that you’re forced to do this without b. Removing either element may help, but an overall improvement to the map layout would also be very beneficial. High Difficulty Maps (6-10): Accepted: Xorcist: @7206533 - Difficulty 6 Arnees: @7218978 - Difficulty 8 Rejected: Umekan: @6912125 - The concept to this map is very unique as it’s something that spiritual doesn’t exactly have, but it was made in a rather faulty design. The map is rather monosolution since the only way to move the ball is by preparing a huge swing right over it. We did devise a significant improvement (@7249503), but unfortunately it changes the original map too much. If the edit is submitted though it should have a good chance at being accepted. Umekan: @5905235 - The concept here is interesting, but it’s not set up in a suitable design. The map is unbalanced since only very few solutions will be the easiest to use compared to every other kind of build possible. The design requires a complete overhaul for this issue to be fixed. Sirakaba: @7178634 - It’s nice that this map encourages dynamic building, but the way it’s designed makes it a little unbalanced. It’s easier to save the mice by building underneath the ice ground than by building around it on top. Some improvements to the map’s design would help its situation. Low Difficulty Maps (1-5): Accepted: Grimmaro: @7221038 - Difficulty 4 Rejected: Grimarro: @7199756 - The dynamic grounds on this map don’t do much to make the shamming experience interesting. Besides that, the map doesn’t really stand out in any significant way compared to the other maps in rotation; it is only okay at best. Xorcist: @7179446 - This seems like an okay low diff map. The length of the dynamic ground adds some extra building potential, and the cloud ground has decent placement. However, this map is rather similar to another map in rotation (@2080619). If there were more things that made the building experience here more interesting then this map would have more justification in replacing the other map. Darklantern: @3540177 - This map has a fairly enjoyable concept with the dynamic grounds, and the fact that they’re axis-locked makes things more interesting. However, the map is a little unbalanced since it’s easier to get mice to hole directly from the cheese than going around the wall on the right side. An improvement to the design would be necessary if this were to get added to rotation. Charlesd: @7224060 - We see the point of the map’s background, but it just wouldn’t look nice on a map in a minigame like spiritual. Also, the way the tokens were set up don’t make the concept work effectively. There are almost no consequences if the mice were to touch a spring token, and the death tokens do nothing but tell you where to build. Checkpoint! September 2017: Uhuge: @6700396 - This map is too similar to another map in rotation (@7206533). Force_Shaman: @3013603 - Portals are not used in a meaningful way on this map. Everblloom: @7234430 - Not only is it discouraged to cover your map completely with a no anchor zone, but it looks like it's impossible to solve this one without balloon spamming. Attomake: @7237947 - On top of the fact that this map uses only anticloud grounds and forces you to stick with balloon-anvil ships, its design is also spaced out to the point where it's impractical to create a stable base for your build. Gamog: @7234429 - This map uses lava grounds in a way that it allows the mice to be able to troll the shaman. |
