| Today I was dual shamaning in some public room and after I was done doing my part I decided to have a little fun and just spawn a sheep on the other shaman, and killed about 4 people. After that a person that was about 9-10 years old started to call me a bitch and then someone told her it was just a game. But of course we can't let such an opportunity to slide so I said "No it's not a game, you don't know how fucking serious this shit is!" then that little 9-10 decides to ramble about people having no lives and so on. It just makes me realize more and more that this community is filled with too many little kids. At one point we decided to see how old everyone was, and about 2 people in a room of 10 were about 13 years old. Too many underaged people, yeah there are but there are a few that act mature and can take a joke. But then you run into those people that you just feel the need to slap in the face for being so stupid .3. |

| Funny how most of the people are too young, or act like idiots, even the older people act like that. |

| Ahhhh god that last paragraph of Peakot's - I think that's quite a large responsibility giving a child a very expensive piece of equipment, and it really is ridiculous how many kids you see running around with iShit and laptops. When I was 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, all I wanted was a dog, and now all kids want are electronic devices. But seriously, if a child thinks 'If they can do ___, I can do it too' then they shouldn't be on the internet. Children at most times are very easily influenced, and if that's the case then they're too young to be using it yet! Blaming Youtube and online games, it's NOT matter of that, it's a matter of SELF CONTROL that the person has viewing such stuff. You'd never, in a millions years, be able to protect children from this stuff, from swearing, distasteful content, so why blame it on such? It doesn't get you anywhere. You can't exactly sugar-coat the internet, but it's only an influence, and you don't HAVE to react to an influence. If you're too immature to have no self-control over this, then maybe you're too young for the internet. Just stop shifting the blame onto stuff you'll never be able to change, and accept the fact that this will always be problem. |

| Under aged isn'ta probally. It's just about how mature somone is. Like if they're mature enought to follow the rules by not cursing and stuff. Anyways I bet most of yous have broken the ''undergaed'' rules. Games like Call of Duty or GTA rated for 18. The only way you have acsess to it is by parents. And that's what the problem is. It's the parents fault. It's up to the parents if they want their children on these type of games. Ageing is just a warning so that the game itself won't get into any trouble. |

| Uh no, it's not a fault of the parents if they let their kids have under 18 games - if they trust their children enough to play said games, they then let them have them. I have an 11 year brother, and numerous friends and myself all play games such as CoD and GTA, and that I know of, none of them are changed because of. That's because parents know when their children are mature enough to own and play such games. Can you put an age on that? No. Yes, it may say 18, but the content within isn't anything that people wouldn't have heard or seen before. Games don't affect children, or anyone, for that matter. If you play a game such as GTA and you think it's acceptable to do that stuff in real life, then you're a fucking nutter hands down no matter what influences you are under. |

Hoodiedoodie a dit : Hoodiedoodie a dit : Hmm, quoting for reasons but not going to reply to it. It is kind of the parents fault because they don't have to buy their kids the game in the first place, weither they do or not is completely up to them. But I don't think games are really to blame for behavior let alone maturity, they can have an influence on language and maybe some other things but a video game isn't really going to change people too much. |

| @Beachking actually, the way the ToS is written, it basically says if you lie and say you're under thirteen and see something that you don't like/don't want to, it's your fault for lying when signing up. |

| Since when somebody reads the ToS? People just agree without reading anything, don't give a poo about it and continue playing the game. |

Haruhitastic a dit : I like that this is part of the ToS - pretty much sums up what I've been trying to get at with fault/blame. |

| I read the entire ToS. Got a problem? hue Either way, moral of the story is, if some child wants to bitch about how their traumatized and under thirteen and they saw a text penis, they hold no right to since they agreed to the terms which said they were thirteen (or if they were younger, they knew the site was for 13+ and therefore they can't complain). I'll go grab the text for you even. One moment. |

| Skimmed. Did you read? Thre's such jewels such as ATELIER 801 DOES NOT PROVIDE INTERNET ACCESS. a dit : Although with the 18+ clause, I feel like it's also attached with the 13+ clause. Unless I'm misreading. |

| I think almost nobody knows the game is for 13+ people. It says that in the middle of the ToS and nobody even reads the first paragraph. |

Haruhitastic a dit : This, same with forums, dA, Facebook, etc., you're supposed to be 13 before signing up for such, it's close to common sense to know that |
