Although this is just me being antsy if I made it or not, it'd be nice if those who are being considered could get some type of notification about if we are still in the running or not. :P

I heard someone say that he recieved something like that, so maybe not getting a notification is basically a notification that they don't consider you. But I don't know, they should have announced things like that beforehand.

To be honest I thought you seemed very qualified and don't have the attitude problem I do. I'm disappointed even you didn't get accepted.

It's not really a problem for me. Based on my past interactions with any level of staff, which is not very positive, it will always be used against me when applying for a staff position(hence why I haven't done the mod app) I applied this time around hoping the combination of desperation on their part to fill the gaps that constantly keep on popping up within with all the resignations, and the possibility that it was time to look past, well, the past, would finally allow me to be a part of the Map Crew. I didn't get it, ah well. Not really going to get worked up about nothing, was just offering spare time I'm going to have to do something good for the game, lol.

Anyways, Fxie not making it also was disappointing. Just because somebody has what can be conceived as a "poor attitude" doesn't make them unworthy. Just because somebody can be argumentative, doesn't make them any less qualified. Really interested to see who they do end up selecting.

Someone with a bad attitude shouldn't because of the harassment they could receive and how they would react.

Fxie has never come off as having a poor attitude. Maybe I don't read into her posts enough, or don't know her on a personal in-game level, but I honestly thought Fxie brought nothing but good to any map based discussion. Sure she was blunt at times, and offensively argumentative at times versus assertive, but again, I don't think the fact that somebody likes to argue/knows how to argue means you can gauge if they can handle harassment.

Holding grudges is very unprofessional. Based on your recent activity for as long as I've seen you, you've been very mature. Then again, I tried being nicer too. I guess "looking past the past" is a problem.

I'm sure they've picked someone pretty much indifferent who doesn't have much of a reputation. A reputation tends to be bad, whether it's good or bad old or new. But that's personality (which imo shouldn't come first). I just hope they picked someone qualified.

Nope.

You should see the PMs I get in-game. If they're negative (LIXO MAPA YOUR MAP SUCKS STOP MAKING MAPS GO DIE), I just ignore them. If they're positive, I give thanks. If they're asking questions (I love to help when I can), I try to answer them.

This might sound sexist but girls have problems getting past the past because they are girls, or more of the female cerebrum. So I'm actualy not surprised there a few girl mapcrew members.
