but if you're turning them into c how does that make sense

seems like you're just getting divine mode stats for using hard mode

I know, and I decide to at least try and get some entertainment out of it when I do but that doesn't mean I can't not like someone's build.

It's fine that you don't like it, but I don't think people should be given such limitations just because others don't find their building fun. It's purely out of choice whether or not someone will use the anchors, no one is forced to or should be forced not to.

We've already been given many limitations, and I'm pretty sure more are going to be given as time goes on. They do need to have at least some balance with the tools though. You're not forced to play in this mode anyways and it's entirely optional as is.

ok, let me drag on my statement: "now that we have a specific slot for getting saves using v-anchors only"

if b anchors werent supposed to be in hard mode, why can we use them in totems? if things werent supposed to be anchored besides c-anchors in hard mode, why were the clouds and stable runes active in hard mode? you may not have used them, and thats good for you, but hardmode wasnt constantly changed to fit a small groups needs. same should carry over to divine then. people play the game how they like, you can use divine and not use everything given to you.

I know we have, and I'm perfectly fine with all the rest of the limitations, but I don't agree with limiting the anchors. I wasn't for limiting them at all, but I'm actually fine with the 10 we have now. Why must we bring the number even further down? It's not that big of a deal. There's still a limit.

I think Divine mode is fine the way it is, people just complain way too much on every little thing that doesn't go their way. Just get rid of the arrow thing, and problem solved, you don't need them at all.

Remember how they had 2 b anchors in totems when Hardmode first came out, and how stable totems were then? I could argue the samething as a few others are but I think 3 arrow anchors are reasonable in a mode like this that's supposed to be difficult.

All of this limiting of arrows reminds me of when clouds were limited in totems. Why were they limited?

Because it wasn't in the spirit of Hard mode, right? You could just spam your totem on a map and it wouldn't be of hardmode difficulty.

Why limit or elminate arrow anchoring?

Because it isn't in the spirit of Divine mode. It's really as simple as that.

Hard mode is a piece of cake because of the totem, it's even worse than the V anchor. You can just make a premade bridge and solve the map in less than a few seconds.

The reason arrow anchors are in divine mode is the same reason they existed in the first place: oversight. Then people started depending on them immediately because they couldn't use divine mode otherwise (that's because they shouldn't be using it, it's not made for everyone it's made to be the ultimate challenge) and instead of removing them altogether they limited them.

The act of limiting them to 10 should make it clear their addition to (or lack of removal from) divine mode was a mistake.

clouds were limited from the beginning, and were eventually removed from totems as punishment for people abusing a glitch that let their entire totems be clouds. not related to this at all.

Remember when Shaman skills were first released and you could spawn as many as you want and they were almost immediately nerfed to spawn only one?

I wasn't around back then. Still, totems are pretty OP as they are now. But you don't need to make your totem super OP, and you don't need to use the arrows to an extreme if you don't want to. It's still hard even with 10 arrows for most people.

You don't need a totem, but you can have it regardless. V anchors are the same, then?

i was referring to totems. and the change in that affected both normal and hard mode, not just one specific one.

Humm, well then. The mode is still optional, I have all the respect for people trying but at the sametime you should probably practice alone in till you're familar with the mode and can at least make one or two builds without arrow anchors. I've personally learnt not to rely on things from not using a totem in hardmode ever, and yes my view is a bit biased because of it.

5 arrows, at least, would be better in my opinion.
