Earlier this year, the EN/E2 team opened up a feedback thread with intent to get suggestions and feedback from our community. We received an extreme amount of feedback, and opted to make changes to our team and the way we do things based off these posts. Some of the changes were quite immediate (for instance, vast amount of our public mods decided to step down due to apparent inactivity), but some changes required a more thorough discussion to ensure that the changes were done right.

Since then, we've received even more feedback from our community, and have made some big changes with the way we handle things both externally and internally;

To start off, you may have noticed that this message is posted from the account Anonymod#0010. This account is, as the name suggests, an anonymous public mod alt. It is to be used mainly for two things: To post collective responses on the forums from the entire team, and as a way for mods in our team to check out what its like to be a public mod. The latter will hopefully both decrease the amount of public alt accounts that come and go, and will also ensure that newer mods won't be overwhelmed by whispers if they choose to be a public mod on their main account.

On the note of overwhelming whispers, we have also made a brand new thread to improve communication between players and staff - The Staff Contact thread! This thread introduces a new way to report staff misconduct and appeal your sanctions, among other things. All appeals made through this thread will also be revised by **two** moderators.

We thank the community for the feedback and suggestions we've received so far, and hope you like the new changes we've made in our team. If you have any other feedback or suggestions you'd like to share with us, please post them in the Staff Contact thread.

The General Forum Guidelines post has been updated. The format has been slightly changed, and the wording of some sections has been edited for clarification. Check it out and let us know in the Staff FAQ or Contact Us if you think anything needs to be fixed!

The EN sentinel team has updated the General Forum Guidelines. Here's a summary of the key changes:

• Advertising: Added clarification regarding Discord links
• Spam and Off-topic: Added 'X or Y' threads are not allowed. These threads have little discussion value and often end up being full of one word posts.
  This rule is from the off-topic section and will now apply to all areas of the forum.
• Plagiarism: Do not plagiarize from other sources. Please do not copy/paste content from sources (such as Wikipedia) into a thread of your own. Threads like this don't take a lot of effort and look bad for the forum. You are allowed to add content from sources, but please give credit and ensure that the majority of content in your thread is written by you.
  This rule is from the off-topic section and will now apply to all areas of the forum.
• Avatars: Removed contacting sentinels about inappropriate Micepix images (RIP)
