I think the point of the examples are that when things were not in the spirit of what hardmode was about (exploitation of clouds) they have been nerfed. In this case with arrows, they're not following the spirit of Divine mode as a more challenging mode than hardmode, and have therefore been nerfed.

I'd argue to say arrows and solid balloons have been exploited in terms of what divine mode is supposed to be, a more challenging mode.

but even then, people are still pushing and saying its not enough. thats when it just become childish and unappreciateve to compromise, considering other things have been nerfed since the update as well.

Well to be honest, most people don't take this game so seriously. They probably don't want to focus their time on practicing and developing in something that's virtual, but they still want to try the mode out, see if it's fun. Maybe get some nice titles. That's how I see it.

Divine mode has been nerfed tons already. Meaning the arrows have been nerfed too. But people still want to nerf the arrows further, and I just don't see the need. If it's not hard enough for you, just don't use them, it's just that simple. Why force everyone into it?

Probably because it's still being exploited. Especially solid balloons.

But I watched a shaman today stop half way through his build because he ran out of arrows when he couldn't build in "like hardmode" style anymore. This kind of style is obviously not what's intended if you've ever looked at any of the v builds posted on the forums.

It honestly comes down to are you trying to stat whore in this new mode or do you actually want a different level of difficulty

I'd be more worried about people getting harrassed because of it, not really about being too serious because even then skills would develope over time.

If divine mode without the arrow anchors is too hard for you, maybe you should stick to hard mode, which is already hard so imagine what divine mode is supposed to be.

If divine mode didn't have its own save stats (instead added to hard mode saves), I bet nobody would take issue with removing arrow anchors.

i'll give you solid balloons, ive seen plenty the shaman exploit it as well, and its not really inteded. but things that are used in builds, i dont feel should have any more limitations.

I'm not saying it's too hard. All I'm saying is that not everyone should be pushed into something because a group of people want it that way. The way things are, no one's forcing you, or anyone for that matter, to use the anchors. But if things were to get nerfed even further, or removed, everyone would affected and forced into not using them.

I don't get why everyone gets so angry when others don't build the way they want them to.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understood.. Do you mean harrassed because they can't build in Divine? Well to be honest, a lot of people find Divine mode to be hard as it is right now and I haven't seen many people being harrassed because they failed. People seem to understand its difficulty and let it slide. (Or at least that's as far as I've seen).
