Hey shamans, I'd just like to announce that we are reverting one of the rule changes. Some circumstances changed that now allow us to once again handle maps that were made by inactive mapmakers. Everyone is now allowed to submit maps that are not their own, once again. I hope you all appreciate the change!

Hey shamans, we have a few things to announce. First and foremost, we would like to mention the departure of Bigerrol from the Spiritual Map Team. May he be missed. We are also announcing a schedule change! From now on, all public voting ends on the 15th of each month rather than the 20th. We are making this change to give the team more time to focus on the private review, to make sure each monthly review ends in a high quality result. Anyway, we hope that everyone had a wonderful christmas, and we wish you all a happy new year!

Anthonyjones: @7326445 - Difficulty 8

Rejected:
Sirakaba: @7288648 - Another map in rotation does this concept in a better design (@373949), and the massive grey circle ground is unsightly.

Sirakaba: @7288649 - An existing map in rotation does this concept in a more attractive design that results in more player innovation (@6348425). The vertical scrolling is also unnecessary, and the large circle ground doesn’t look that nice with the map design.

Dukeonkled: @7325920 - We acknowledge the chocolate grounds for the concept, but the building process is too generic and the map as whole doesn’t offer anything new enough for rotation.

Piionze: @7020106 - The map has a balancing issue since you can make a swing solution to the cheese as opposed to doing dynamic builds. Even when considering the dynamic solutions, this map doesn’t offer them in a design that stands out enough from other maps that are already in rotation.

Piionze: @7111910 - The timer on this map serves little purpose as it just forces you to build quicker. Other than that, the map doesn’t offer a very innovative design nor is the concept new for spiritual. Building to the objectives is rather generic, too.

Piionze: @7315634 - The design leaves not enough space to build. This map would only frustrate players, and it’s simply too unforgiving to drive innovation.

Sirakaba: @7277704 - The pre-spawned base that players are given has a weird shape and doesn’t offer a lot of stability. Building to the objectives is generic as well. Overall, the concept in theory could work but some things need to be changed.

Hi everyone, we have a few things to talk about. First off, the #Spiritual Team acknowledges that a few skills are able to be used in the module. Please note that this is an issue with Transformice itself, not with our module, and we currently have no way to remedy this issue. We would also like to mention a new member joining the staff. Please welcome Emeryaurora to the #Spiritual Map Team! Anyway, we have a few improvements we’re going to make to a big batch of maps in rotation -- some edits of which may or may not be subtle. You can expect these updates to arrive within a few months.

Thegbc: @6661666 - Difficulty 4
Xorcist: @3957507 - Difficulty 4

Rejected:
Coralbee: @7135698 - This cage design is far too generic to invoke a meaningful concept or inspire exceptional gameplay. The green attachable grounds hardly have any use for players since the map allows B and it’s already mindlessly easy to solve it.

Azafreak: @307909 - This map is not well-balanced since it’s much easier to take the top route than the bottom one. It takes much less planks to solve the map when you initially go up, and the fact that you can solo the cheese from there makes it even more off-balance. There are simply too many disadvantages associated with going across the map first. Anyway, the only positive thing to take away from this map is that it looks good aesthetically -- it just needs a better design for the gameplay.

@447984 - This is a difficult map in hard mode, requiring precision. Many maps that are easy with normal mode pose significantly greater challenge with hard mode.

@7218978 - We are working on fixing this. Thank you for bringing attention to it. In the meantime, it should not be too troubling since shaman can still help the mice to the hole and get experience.
