The only reason there's a 13+ requirement is due to laws concerning privacy and data collection to do with minors. It has nothing to do with an actual age requirement for the game, or the maturity of its users.

That said, most online communities are immature, and hardly a place for a child.

Ugh, anyone noticed the amount of spam threads these days? I'm not saying I didn't make many in the past lol, but once I fully read the Rules and Guidelines everything was ok. The younger kids don't really read those things and tend to skip important information. I'm just guessing here that they're pretty much 10 or 11- but it damn well looks like it.

You can't change it no matter what. This is how the internet is.

I had an email when I was 12, it's pretty common for kids to have such these days, they're not exactly hard to get.

Well I never knew that it's required to be 13+, I started playing TFM when I was 11. Anyways, I wonder, why is it required to be 13+? I have a bff that's under 13 and she's awesome ;; And I don't mind swearing on TFM because I do it sometimes myself... if people are annoying with sexual stuff, I just ignore them... ;;
