High Difficulty Maps (6-10): Accepted: Jackyyip: @1464908 - Difficulty 8 Rejected: Jackyyip: @7371104 - It’s good that there’s room to innovate on this map, but the concept is too generic to count as an experience that is novel enough for rotation. Eraserpie: @4063995 - The map has unbalanced gameplay, as it is significantly easier to build the path underneath. Anthonyjones: @7381071 - Although there is room for innovation, these map concepts are already common in rotation. Anthonyjones: @7346341 - This concept in theory could work, but the map design is too faulty; it does not allow room for much innovation and it seems pretty monopath. Furthermore, the layout needs a lot of work aesthetically; this does not look like something that would fit nicely in rotation. Low Difficulty Maps (1-5): None Accepted Rejected: Ratufufu: @7094928 - The design is too monopath, limiting the variety of builds for this map. The length of the map only extends the tedium of the experience, and the stabilization concept doesn’t really add anything new. Dddin: @4209191 - Although the map offers a variety of pathways, concepts like these are already common in spiritual rotation. Removed Maps: Hekie: @234115 - It is almost an exact replica of map @233649. We decided to remove this one since it is aesthetically inferior to the other map, along with at least one alignment error. Jeeed: @615238 - The design is too similar to map @231308, which imposes roughly the same concept but in a better way. @615238 makes it too easy for players to start a base with the cloud grounds. In contrast, @231308 poses the same concept but does not sacrifice the challenge, thus forcing players to be steady with their builds. High Difficulty Maps (6-10): Accepted: Jackyyip: @7389551 - Difficulty 8 Rejected: Dukeonkled: @7165635 - The concept for the original map was unclear. It was not clear what the intended solutions were. The new version is less confusing but contains very few balanced solutions. Arnees: @6481702 - Even though this map isn’t monosolution, its tight cloud design makes it tough to create enough innovative solutions. Arnees: @6403453 - This map has been rejected because although the water stabilization concept is unusual, this map does not promote innovation, as most of the building is very straight-forward. The wind does not prevent the balloon run solution and further limits builds on this map. Jackyyip: @7386721 - The map provides an interesting concept with multiple paths but is far too unforgiving for anyone with slight delay in their spawns. Sirakaba: @7394715 - The map does not have anything unique about it. It is more practical to use a v swing than to attempt any dynamic build. Low Difficulty Maps (1-5): None Accepted Rejected: Sorenhl: @4106253 - The map is unbalanced. The distance is longer on the left side compared to the right. Anthonyjones: @7389405 - The map is monopath and is visually unappealing. Molotovakola: @6969986 - The cloud ground is deceptive, as it appears to be anti-cloud. The map is rather monopath. Overall, the map is poorly planned out and is as dull as its mapmaker. Zenitxh: @7375577 - This map does not offer anything particularly exciting. All you gotta do is force everyone through the purple ground onto a prepared build, and then build like normally to the cheese. Although this idea is not completely unoriginal, it still comes off as generic. V_21: @7200202 - The concept is nearly pointless since you can still expose both the cheese and hole. The map isn’t very balanced and it even contains a fake ground. Removed Maps: Voidmoon: @235336 - This map is very similar to an existing map in rotation: @204088. We’d rather opt to remove Voidmoon’s map since the combined challenges on that map are less relevant to each other, and are not as concise as what Bigynooby’s map has to offer.
