| Has anything changed to P1? Just noticed (after seeing both my submissions got rejected) that very very few maps get P1 nowadays. This while they're perfectly fine for the category. Did you guys get stricter, or what's going on exactly? |

| I think it's more of a perming the same kinda maps over and over. I haven't had any trouble getting my maps P1 even if I don't want them to get permed. So it might depend more on the member reviewing the maps. |

Holomouse a dit : ^This. Especially on P4 and P8, If i start reviewing, I only see the same concept of map everytime, so I don't think it's worth p1-ing almost same map from different players. |

| I didn't think P1 required map makers to be original, as long as it isn't a plain copy? Having said that, I've never found it easy to get (my) maps p1'd. This while as far as I can tell they usually are meeting all the requirements listed. |

Barrydarsow a dit : . Didn't find it enjoyable, didn't perm. just cause a map doesnt break rules doesnt mean it should automatically be p1 |

| Wouldn't it save a lot of grief on both players and the Map Crew if maps that fit the definition on P1 were still P1'd despite if it's a very common design or if the player reviewing it doesn't particularly like it a lot? I know reviewing the same kind of maps over and over can get so jaded after a while, but not perming them when they do fit the requirements means players are forced to go around to Map Crew members or mods continuously until they eventually do get their maps permed, which isn't pleasant to anyone involved. It's fully understandable that maps shouldn't be P1'd *because* they fit the category and nor should it be done as a reward, but considering how the rotation acts nowadays it puts a significant importance on P1 that players would still appreciate and shouldn't add anymore time onto a Map Crew's reviewing session. |

| ^my thoughts as well. P1 may have been meant to have no value, as soon as the amount of p0's the game chooses from was limited, P1 became a lot more important. If I want to see my newer maps played, they have to be P1. As far as I can tell usermade maps, even though they may contain a lot of the same concepts over and over, are infinitely more varied than vanilla maps and are varied enough to not worry about seeing the same thing over and over in normal rooms. Moreover, the fact that one specific person doesn't find a map enjoyable makes it easy for a player to take things personally. It's hugely subjective and the more you get addressed on that, the less fun being a map crew member probably is. |

Holomouse a dit : I think it's more about this. Some reviewer are quite lenient while others think of p1 as more of a prize. |
