I don't expect new shamans to know how to phase planks through grounds, nor arrow bolt. Explain to me why having a little gap in some of the places where you phased planks/boxes through the grounds would be such a big problem?

Making the map more accessable for hard-moders isn't a bad thing, it lowers the difficulty but lessens the chances of getting a glitchy build that kills everyone.

Not to mention that when one shaman dies on some of these maps, it's already a pain in the ass to complete alone in easy mode as it stands already. I'm pretty sure others would agree with me as well.

it's the idea that you're on hardmode, your own creativity determines if you build well new shamans shouldn't be on hard mode.

also 1 those were just basic solutions everyday shaman I meet know.

2 number of saves to determine an everyday shaman is an opinion, I see normally 7000-9000

and 3 I have no clue what you mean arrow bolt nor phase planks means

remember what it is 'hard'mode not easy mode, in halo ledgerndary you need to use your brain to win not just pew pew it should be hard

edit: I'll test out those maps >.>

Here, I whipped up a small image for you to help explain my point.

Example

The red circles are where you phased things through the grounds, or in other words "clipping through the floor". This isn't needed and should be avoided at all costs.

Where I added the green squares is just 2 places where we could add these gaps to make game-play more convient for shamans and players alike.

Shaman's shouldn't be forced to do so, it should be an option. The point of hard-mode is to do builds without only a totem and c-anchors. The game-play is already difficult without a b-totem. If people want a challenge they can play without a totem (like me).

also 1 those were just basic solutions everyday shaman I meet know.

Me and you live in two completely different rooms, and worlds then. Because I never see shamans doing that.

Mousechris a dit :

I see a looooooot of players with less then that, and with new players coming in everyday you can't exactly forget about them.

Mousechris a dit :

Arrow anchoring, using the arrow to add bolts to exsisting builds.

I played Halo 4 on Legendary, and it was a bitch and very frustrating, even though I completed it.

I don't want to bluntly force that down the communities throat because they should have a choice, and not utterly rage quit the game billions of times till they perfect a strategy.

May I also remind you that Map-Crew is here to make sure players enjoy the game they play and have a nice rotation, not just for difficulty in maps?

Most basic shamans can't shaman half of the P4s out there, just a note. Also let's not think about EN but also FR, BR and et cetera. EN has some skilled shamans, where other communities don't. Also I was under the impression for P4 that certain amount of space be included so that you can place planks without them glitching. But that was a while ago.

no? It looks like all the otehr "push/ride" the thing out of the way. Theres the one you indicated, then theres the grayarcanine (name spelt right?) P6 where the woods block cheese and hole and you push them either direction, the one P6 where the choco blocks the tramp or the hole. And thats off the top of my head. The concept is overused imo.
