Haruhitastic a dit :
Nothing happened, it was a joke.

dat barry

anyway as for the new update

I'm not sure what to think really, it sounds like it's for a cause but I also don't really think it's nessisary, imagine if every player made a duplicate thread explaining the same bug, sure tig would find that bug

but would he find the OTHER bugs?

We brought up all of these concerns everyone has about the Bugs section with Tig, however he still insists that not locking these threads helps him understand about the problems people have on a better level. I know bugs may look more messy as a result, but if it helps him address bugs and issues faster and more efficiently then in the long run it should be worth it.

Johnlantern a dit :
There are three types of modules:
1: Official module scripts, those that have a special # room.
2: Unofficial scripts, approved by admins, those that can be loaded with /module in tribe house but have no special # room.
3: Unofficial scripts, not approved by admins, those that can only be loaded with /lua in your tribe house by regular users if you happen to have the code.

2 and 3 are really quite different because the difference is that one is admin approved while the other is not...and that actually means one of them can be loaded with /module and you don't need to find the code. So having an unofficial tag for admin approved modules would be quite helpful :)

I'm sure you know all this but it's just that from a user stand point, it's actually helpful to have these.

To be honest I didn't realise that, although I still feel having unofficial tags next to every thread would be overkill. That's just me though.

Severe rule breakers on the forum now run the risk of earning in-game bans alongside forum mutes. This will only be for extreme cases, honest or small mistakes won't earn an in-game ban.

As always everyone is free to give their thoughts on the matter in the Reactions thread. Topic-64554

Then resolve it with a mod like you're supposed to.

Not really a fan of the update but whatever

Just another way that could possible count towards ingame ban, is when people post on behalf of a muted person. But there should be a valid reason, such as

> [Badmouse] Hey dude can you say to that Iamconz guy that he is ugly

You should ban the "Badmouse" ingame for however long, and mute/warn the guy for posting it

But if it's something like this

> [Badmouse] Get Prosouris to add me ingame

then it could be overlooked I guess

just a suggestion~

I assume if we were meant to know, examples would've been given.

I take it that things such as double posting, creating question threads etc. will be overlooked?

but others such as CP should receive in game bans IMO.

Haru is right in the sense that we don't want to give examples out of what would and wouldn't cause a ban, but small things like double posting won't receive them. Like I said, severe cases will get bans.

It's not stupid. If you do something like share CP or hack links or private servers on this forum I think you deserve an in-game ban too because you could do similarly there.
It's just a preventative measure.

Not stupid; don't break severe rules etc. and you won't have a problem. It's the person's fault if they decide to pull one of those severe cases.
But yes, a good addition to the punishment system.
