I don't have sex with my maps, but I often replace the XML codes of my older maps with newer ones. I have a little quirk of being ashamed of failure. I quite dislike that many of my maps are ugly and aren't worth showing here. For that reason, I keep picking old maps of mine and replace their original XML. In essence, "touching the maps' essence".

I thought it was noteworthy to indicate which maps I *haven't* edited at all ever since I first exported them. These virgin maps have survived my rigorous map purging and some of these are relics of a time long past when things like backgrounds and hard mode were unheard of. I call them "virgin" since they are untouched since birth.

So there! I hope it's clearer now. I'll perhaps update my first post since once I finish writing the mini-article for the maps.

Although... I was wondering what sort of babies you and your other maps would have.

Uh, sorry about that! I'm making the mini-articles of my maps in @code order... As you may have seen, I've only done up to @351000 something, so I have a lot more writing to do before I reach @776000. I wonder what sort of thing I'll write for my pants map. :B

One improvement I'd suggest, though: you could use circles for the knees to cover up the space created when the legs move at certain angles.

I really wish silly things like ground limits would not apply to mapmakers like me... It's quite limiting of our potential.

I really like science shaman maps. In fact, it's one of the categories I brought up for voting in the map making contest. Unluckily, it hasn't been chosen as a category yet xD . Yours are old, original and well-made so kudos to you. Also, I remember a lot of these maps when I played two years ago and they're very nostalgiac. I'm looking forward to more maps!

I found out about your maps through the amazing MJ map and the Sofa pyramid map with the big choco sofa, one of the best :P

Most of everyone else tries to go for the new stuff, but I'm quite prone to nostalgia. I love the feel of the old grounds as well as the simplicity of the old maps where, as I might have mentione before, had a ground limit of 20! Back then, the highest generic racing title is "Quick Silver", and after that, the game was more about having fun with friends than about getting Alpha and Omega or some title that would take months to achieve, even for the most skilled players.

Back then, I anticipated the next Temple map like a child would for Christmas. Room shaman was actually a fun place to build science contraptions and to ban trolls for throwing snowballs. Having a permanent actually meant something. Sorlui was everyone's best friend, and completing shaman maps without the B anchor was a status symbol. I uh, miss those times, I guess.

I'm not ALL old, though! I make use of new technology such as invalid friction, no-B, no-anchor, invalid rotation, invalid restitution, Rype Glitch, hiding anchors and invisible color grounds. I'm still learning how to innovate my maps, and more so on the mechanism side, than the art side.

Hmmmmm Ctg while looking at your maps i was thinking how interesting most of them are. I honestly think you should have put updated pictures more then the old ones but that was interesting too. Infact seeing as how your maps worked simply form the pictures you gave me a map idea so i must thank you for the idea. Anyway good job on the maps their great.

Nice.
I dont feel like you need to put new pictures, since the pictures tell you your maps are old, now some of your maps are "Cheap Tricks" as you said, but the pictures tells you that you made it before it was easy to make them :D
