There's a Limit don't overdo it. Getting banned from the IRC for me, is similar to getting banned from the game itself!
They are both important. For example, in case the server crashes, the troubleshooting and the connection issues are held in the IRC.

If on XChat, Set auto reconnect to ON. Then wait a few seconds after the connection error, and you should be Fine! It will relog by itslef.

If on Qwebirc, It looks like a Problem with your Host. Try signing in later!
